TEA & KIRTAN! If you know Sarah, you’ll know she LOVES her tea… and she’s pretty much a pro! So, what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than tasting some lovely teas chosen by Sarah, followed by a little Kirtan with me? And for anyone who knows me, you'll know I LOVE Kirtan and my harmo... Saturday 24th October 3.30–5pm Whitton Community Centre Come along for a relaxed hour and a half of tea tasting, a bit of singing, and some good company. No experience needed, no pressure, just tea, tunes and a chance to unwind! Or, if you fancy making a whole day of it,there are still spaces available for our full day, 10am–5pm, featuring yoga, yoga philosophy, pranayama and sound healing before tea and Kirtan! Come for the tea, stay for the chanting… or join us for the whole beautiful day! #whittonevents #tea #yogatwickenham #kirtan #yogarichmond by @lifethroughtintedglasses
KIRTAN & TEA TASTING TICKETS Saturday 24th October 2026 3.30-5pm TW2 area, Twickenham, London Comment “KIRTAN” for booking details ——- What is Kirtan? Kirtan is essentially a form of group singing and meditation. One person leads a simple chant, usually repeating a phrase or mantra, and everyone joins in. The words are often in Sanskrit and have their roots in ancient Indian spiritual traditions, but you don’t need to understand Sanskrit, be spiritual or have any previous experience to take part. There’s no pressure to sing perfectly (or even to sing at all!) You can simply listen, join in when you feel like it and let the music do its thing. Because the same words and melodies are repeated, it can be surprisingly easy to switch off from the busyness of everyday life and become absorbed in the sound. Kirtan can feel different for everyone. Some people find it deeply relaxing and meditative, others find it uplifting and energising and sometimes it can bring up emotions too. There’s no particular experience you’re supposed to have. It’s simply an opportunity to pause, breathe, sing, listen and be present. At its heart, Kirtan is about coming together. There’s something really beautiful about a group of people creating music together without needing to be musicians or singers. You just turn up as you are, join in as much or as little as you want, and share the experience with everyone else. by @lifethroughtintedglasses

2026 You won’t enjoy every session, even if you love the movement. In a world that constantly asks for more of you, I suggest setting something aside just for yourself to enjoy. Something that doesn’t demand your “best”. Sometimes I run faster, others times slower. Good thing is, i don’t care. I pace myself according to energy levels that day and mood. I choose my distance accordingly. I choose my podcast or moments of silence accordingly. Sometimes I have big periods between runs. Once a week at most (your gal doesn’t need to do more cardio). If your New Year’s resolution was to move more, then make sure at least one session a week is for fun! That’s my advice for 2026. Enjoy yourself, life is shorter than you think. This is your reminder that not everything has a “quick” fix tip. Be careful of the advice you find on social media… Some things take time and dedication. Try to make the most of the process. Enjoy it, it’s life!#pullups #commited by @lifethroughtintedglasses
Life lately…. Pictures: 1. Many many many layers at all times (I call this my sexy season 😉) 2. Taught a barre class with this bad boy hole in my sock the whole day prior, didn’t even notice. How is that possible?! 3. Lemoncello mince pies not exist in Waitrose. Run, don’t walk! Graded 10/10. 4. Made my second bottle of mulled wine. Served in the Iranian way 😂 5.Taught class yesterday with this AIRPORT trolley rocking up right next to my bike. My sign to be off next week! Join me before I fly to Madeira for winter sunshine next Monday. Schedule below. When will I see you? 🎶 DO THE THINGS THAT BRING YOU JOY 🎶 NOT possible to always do. If we are always joyful, we will never find new ways of living and being. We will never get the push to change and challenge. Sometimes the very opposite emotions like saddness or anger can push us to notice what we can do to be closer to a sense of joy. Anyway, just today’s talking point. Here are the way I hope to bring you joy; Cycle, yoga, sound baths, barre, strength and conditioning. Teaching all these classes to inspire people to: Move ☑️ Connect to themselves ☑️ Decompress ☑️ Find community and connection ☑️ Celebrate themselves ☑️ Schedule: MONDAY: 6.45am Just Ride (JR) 30 7.15am JR 8am JR 30 @ Third Space Clapham 10.45-11.30am- Indoor Cycling  @The Lensbury TUESDAY: 6.30am JR 7.30am JR 30@ Third Space Richmond 9.45-10.30am Vinyasa Yoga 10.45-12.15pm Vinyasa Fusion Yoga @The Lensbury WEDNESDAY: 7.15-8am Cyclone @DL Hampton 9.30-10.15am Coach by Colour Cycle @ TW2 Fitness 10.45-11.40am Rhythm @DL Hampton 12.30-13.15pm F45 Class @Teddington THURSDAY: 9.35-10.20am Rhythm @ DL Hampton 12.30-13.15pm Vinyasa Yoga @The Lensbury 18-19.15pm Yang Yin Yoga @ HeartSpace Yoga Twickenham SATURDAY: 8.15-9am Cyclone @DL Hampton 9.30am Strength &Conditioning 10.30am Strength & conditioning 11.30am Barre  All @TW2 Fitness SUNDAY: 8.45-9.30am-  Indoor Cycling 9.45-10.45am- Indoor Cycling @The Lensbury 11.15am-12pm Method 12.15-13.10pm Pulse @ Third Space Richmond 17-18pm Yoga 18.10-18.40pm Sound meditation/ Meditation @ DL Hampton Remember to notice the ways you can spark joy. 🧨 by @lifethroughtintedglasses
