LABUBU Adventures

I’ve been super MIA because life has been overwhelming and I’m in a content slump. So here are a few photos of my LABUBU going on random adventures with me.

Life lately has consisted of school, work, reading Zodiac Academy and visiting back home (a lot). Hope everyone is staying healthy and happy! Will be back one of these days ✌🏼 by @lifewithannery

Happy Mother’s Day 💗

I wouldn’t be me, without my mom. She’s the most important person in my life (aside from my sister). My best friend, my cheerleader, my safe space. She deserves to be celebrated every single moment of every day. I always tell my mom that if we’re reborn, in the next life cycle, I want to be her mom so that I can treasure her the way she has always treasured me. If you know me in real life, you know how much my mom means to me. She is the rock, my foundation and the best parts of me.

April Faves 💐

Spring has officially sprung. My allergies are going absolutely insane but worth it to see so much color. April was a month of stress but also peace. I was the moodiest mood reader and it took me awhile to get invested in a book. Thrillers were my jam this month with the occasional unhinged craziness and motorcycle deliciousness. Still attending my weekly craft class, making my drinky drinks and spending time with loved ones.

Happy Indie Bookstore Day!

Make sure to check out your local indie bookstore not only today but throughout the year! Support local 💗 by @lifewithannery

Trader Joe’s Haul 🛒

Probably not the type of content you’re looking for on my account but this is part 1 of me making the content I want. I love Trader Joe’s and I love haul videos. So ta-da 🤗

The California Roll, Mini Cone’s, and Banana Chips are a staple in my house but everything else tickled my fancy or they were new items!

Stone Riders Era 🏍️

I have officially entered my Stone Riders MC era and it’s a great place to be! Where We Started is a second chance (one of my favorites), friends to lovers then enemies to lovers with so much found family. I read this book in one sitting and it was exactly what I needed after being in a weird book slump (again). I loved Callie & Wes’ story and can’t wait to dive into the next books!

I had the opportunity to meet @ashley_munozauthor and get her signing editions at Wild & Windy. Thanks to @filthyfawn for picking this for me to read. And thanks to my sister @darlinggracie for owning a Harley 🙌🏼

New Hobby? ☑️

As if reading, crocheting and journaling wasn’t enough… I went and added a new hobby to my list. I just started on my first bedazzling project and I’m obsessed already 😍 can’t wait to finish this one! Will post updated photo once I add the finishing touches!

⭐️Have you bedazzled or tried bedazzling yet?⭐️ by @lifewithannery

Recent Favorites 💗

These are some favorites I read in the last month or so and felt that I needed to dedicate a post to it.

Fragile Sanctuary: I’ve officially entered my Sparrow Falls era. I’m really loving romance thrillers lately because it fills my love of both genres. I’m excited to read the rest of this series. @catherinecowlesauthor

First-Time Caller: This book felt like pure magic. As a huge fan of Sleepless in Seattle (the inspiration behind the book), I felt that it really did it justice. I fell in love, swooned hard and cried reading this. Can’t wait for Jackson’s book! @authorbkborison

Savor It: I loved this book. And then I read Left of Forever (ARC) and loved it even more after that. Since I don’t have a physical copy of LOF yet, I didn’t add it here. This book made me laugh out loud, cry and sigh a lot. Can’t wait to meet @authortarahdewitt in May!

If It Makes You Happy: I’ve talked about this book a lot but it deserved another shout-out. It gave me all the ‘90s romcom feels and vibes. Think a mixture of Gilmore Girls and Full House. I adore this book so much. @julieoliviaauthor

Life Lately ⭐️

First, the answer to my random giveaway was FOUR books and CONGRATS to @sisters_reading! You’ll receive a lil gift in the mail from me soon 💗💗💗 thank you to everyone who guessed.

I’ve been doing a lot of social activities and self-reflection these days. I started doing a lil weekly art class with @eldritchlore and we’re learning how to create with our hands. I’ve been cuddling my pups extra hard lately. Reading has been on the slower side but that’s okay. Content this week will be rough as I’m traveling and doing stuff for work but grateful that you’re still here 💗

March Favorites 💐

I’m a little behind but decided I’d post the content anyway! 2025 is all about doing the things I want, whenever I want. March has been a month of trying new things and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Even though I’m going through some cycles of serious depression, I’m still trying to show up for myself in little ways. These are a few of my favorite things I read, watched, listened to or used. Also a snippet of some of my favorite people and moments 💗

Girlships 💗

Love my girls that can yap one minute and then read in silence the next. Grateful for all of the adult girlships I’ve made in my thirties. Friends that can ebb and flow with you are keepers. Thank you @theombregang for being down 🙌🏼.

Stay till the end! 🙌🏼

I have a serious problem. It’s so hard to leave a bookstore empty handed. I need to be on a book buying ban, I shouldn’t even be allowed in them anymore. And it’s not like I had any of my enabling friends with me, I have only myself to blame. But also, leave your guesses in the comments! I’ll announce the winner in about 3 days! 💗 by @lifewithannery
