Finally!! This was my 4th time competing in IPF World Open Powerlifting Championships 🇱🇹 and this was my 1st good meet. Previous meets I️ always came up short, failed to perform the best but 2026 I️ got my 8/9 lifts, my first Worlds PR and I’m soooo happy with my performance! Training was always too good to be true, there were so many nights I️ just wanted to go home and sleep but the discipline was so deep, I️ had no choice. 💪🏾

Squats:
Opener - 150kg
155kg
160kg ((PR))

Bench:
Opener - 80kg
85kg 🔴🔴🔴
85kg ⚪️⚪️⚪️

Deadlifts:
Opener - 160lg
170kg
172.5kg

Huge thanks to friends and family. To everyone who supported this journey, I️ can’t thank you enough. @hybxkm_ & @coach_todmantalks for running my numbers and keeping me locked in.

I️ came to represent my family’s home 🇻🇮 and I️ hope I️ represented well. Thank you to my USVI team!!! I️ joined in 2019, although so much has changed, I️ still kept the same heart and determination. 💛💙 by @lifting.queenlove

Things are not happening to me, they are happening for me. I’m dealing with the hard stuff, I’m doing the hard stuff because on the other side is everything I️ dream about. Whether that’s something as simple as peace, calm, healing, joy, happiness or an abundance of love. I️ will receive it. I️ am becoming HER. 💪🏾❤️

••So many great shots!!!••

Ya girl is 36 now!!! Slide #19 & #20 - I️ was blessed with an amazing daughter. Her words/gift to me.

Life should be filled with smiles, laughter, good people and good food! It’s all that simple. I️ live for the sentimental moments in life…I️ believe there is meaning in everything. ♎️🥰 I’m thankful for the love and birthday wishes. Here’s to many more 🥂! October never fails me 🤞🏾🤎 by @lifting.queenlove

Completed my first half marathon in DC!! I️ still can’t believe I️ did it. It came and went lol 🤞🏾💪🏾 @dchalfmarathon by @lifting.queenlove

We are all changing every day. The woman at the beginning is not the woman that stands before you today. I️ was scared of failure, falling behind, failing to meet others expectations of me, and ultimately becoming someone I️ wouldn’t recognize. NOW, I’m more myself and stronger than ever because I️ embraced everything I️ tried to avoid. One day at a time, one kilo at a time 😉 by @lifting.queenlove

Take it from me as someone who trains hard in both running and strength. If you’re not maximizing your recovery, you’re burning both sides of the candle. 🕯️ pick up MAGNA today or ask me for a sample 💪🏾😌 by @lifting.queenlove

I️ was explaining my training process to someone who is new to fitness. They had watched cool workouts on social media and wanted to try it ALL. Without dimming their excitement (which I️ love) I️ explained the realistic process to reaching their goal. Often times the excitement in the beginning fades, the workouts seem daunting and motivation is capricious. The goal remains constant. As I️ began my rationale for my training, I️ just stopped. I️ told them when the motivation runs out, remember the excitement you had from the start and the “why.” Train with your “why,” your purpose and discipline will build in the background. Find appreciation in the journey. by @lifting.queenlove

Another great session in the books. Did I️ want to train? No. Do I️ want to get better? Yes. So I️ train.

Just to get better! 😃😅 by @lifting.queenlove
