Our mind can lie, but the body holds the truth. My work is leaning into directing the breathe to naturally create space where tension needs attention.

If your body was a garden, what plants would be flourishing? 🌿

I painted this while I was in the midst of my apprenticeship, many moons ago 🌙

I always carry the constant feeling, an undeniable memory, reminding me of the healing that comes- freely given- as an offering from the sea 🌊 ✨️

I haven't jumped in the ocean in far too long, and I'm missing her lately....if you have the opportunity, take a dunk for me 😘🫶

Tandem flow is so fun! To work with someone on someone else really dials you in to creating a rhythm together, like a dance 💃

The spa where I worked in Eilat is one of the most incredible locations I've been blessed to be at 💫 the treatments conducted there offered next level peace with the gentle waves of the Red Sea lapping the shoreline 🌊

Lay down however you're comfy, put on some good tunes, take some deep breaths and settle in 🤗 by @light.izza.lot

Kua Lua backwalking is the specific modality that was passed down to my teacher @jeananaluai by her Auntie Mahi Mahi 🌈 my favorite part of the training for Kua Lua was being barefoot all the time 👣 I liked learning to pick things up with my feet as well 😁

Sooo I've been experimenting with a different approach to bodywork 💆‍♀️ I've come to find that being fully clothed, on the ground, propped with pillows, either lying on the side or being seated criss cross applesauce have been the most effective and noninvasive ways to get the most work done! It's been amazing to get feedback from my loved ones as I try new things and fine tune the techniques. Intentional breathe is also essential for the muscles to release, and for energy to move ✨️

Excited for what's to come!
