🎉My album ‘See Her’ is out today 🎉 I hope you’ll listen, and if you like it, please share it with someone you think might like it, too. This is the culmination of three years of work and change and love and tears, and I have people to thank! My producer, @donmitchell and my mixing engineer @harrispaseltiner. My rhythm section, @cillabonniemusic and @brophydrums. @ritheband for his beautiful voice, keys, and partnership. My manager @theamundy and my publicist @oneinamillionmedia for helping me get the album across the finish line. @headbtchmusic for distribution. @thepixbextakes for driveway hugs and coffee walks. @hayleydraws_sometimes for design consultation and once in a lifetime friendship. My Kickstarter supporters, my family, and so many friends. Thank you, thank you, I am so very grateful. #newmusic #folk #country #rock #queer by @lightbirdmusic

🦋Artist Feature🦋 @lightbirdmusic released her debut self produced album “See Her” on June 5th and we were lucky to get a first listen of the song “Land of the Free” before the album dropped. This song is in sonic conversation with 60s and 70s protest music and tells a personal story of her families experience in the Japanese internment camps in order to turn a mirror towards the unjust government profiling and deportations happening today. The track highlights Danni Hoshino’s incredible guitar skills and her ability to turn the personal political, a theme that runs through the entire project which tells her story of coming out as a trans woman. Stream the album and go see @lightbirdmusic perform live, you will be moved to tears and grooving to infectious songs. #newartist #bestnewalbum #transartist by @lightbirdmusic

Here’s to 4 years of Danni with an “i”. 4 years of pink hair and selfies and joy and love and discovery and music and twirling and hard times, too. Looking forward to many more. Thanks for tuning in 💖💖💖💖 #trans #queer #queerart #folk by @lightbirdmusic
