Culture Days Open House

Special Hours — Wednesday, September 30 | 12–3 PM

Our studio will be open to everyone—drop by, say hi, grab a chair, and let us show you how to create a wonderful handmade memento to take home as a reminder of your visit to our sewing studio.

And in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite you to come in and learn the story behind the Orange Shirt & its significance, while creating your own orange-shirt appliqué on a quilt square.

Once all the squares are complete, we will join them together, quilt the finished quilt, and donate it to "Quilts for Survivors"

This is an opportunity to learn, reflect, create, and come together as a community. by @lilaxstudio21

There is always something happening in the studio!
Wednesday was day 2 of Kids Day Camp & we made lined tote bags, we think they are outstanding🌟
And later it was "Sewing for Community", an open studio session when you can drop in and sew Victorian Crazy quilt squares to be sewn into blankets for local community groups. Everyone welcome to gather, laugh & chat over the sewing machines :) by @lilaxstudio21
