Big ups to people who know how to punch back when life tries to knock em down. #perseverance #battletested by @lilchuy77

When I used to fight I used to do things that I thought were for myself but the more I did it the more I learned that I had people watching what I did and how I did so I quickly understood that my real job was to set an example of where hard work and discipline could lead you. I never skipped training and always gave my best I may not have been the best fighter but I was proud because I put in work and paid my dues. All of the people I train now never knew me as a fighter so they don’t know that every bump, bruise, bloody nose, weight cut, win loss, title fight, long camp, sleeping on the floor in Thailand, dealing with shady promoters, bad decisions, knockout was for them so I can tell them from real experience what it’s like so they don’t make the same mistakes and so they can get more than I ever got out of this sport because it’s the most beautiful and honest sport you can do. #leadbyexample by @lilchuy77

Sounds weird but I always felt the most in control of myself when I was fighting. The Wai Kru was always my favorite part ,when I felt the most at ease because despite how hard I knew the fight would be I always knew I did everything I could do to be ready. What do you think about when you’re circling the ring?

This past weekend we took some of our fighters to compete at the IKF tournament in Las Vegas. Out of the 4 we took 3 won their brackets. I am super proud of all of them for training hard and stepping into the ring to represent our gym. I hope they continue to train hard and continue to push to reach their goals. Thank you to all of our double kick members who helped each of them out in training. I think we are building a nice little team and look forward to seeing what the future brings. Also thank you to Coach @chriswidlowski for really investing a lot of his time to build this team and work with them. Coach @stephanietramp and @msjyou for taking care of the gym while we were away they are some of the only people I have 100% trust in to watch over the gym while we were gone. Also @jeffdojillo for helping out with pads the last couple weeks before the tournament. It takes a lot of people to be able to do things like this and I am grateful for all of you.

BUILDING BULLETPROOF KIDS: DISCIPLINE, FOCUS, & SELF-DEFENSE THROUGH MUAY THAI 🛡️

✨ Give your kids the ultimate foundation with the “Art of Eight Limbs.” Our program uses Muay Thai to sharpen the mind and strengthen the body.

Muay Tinys (Ages 5-8): We use Muay Thai fundamentals to build focus and listening skills while burning off that extra energy.

Youth Warriors (Ages 9-13): Students develop real-world self-defense, unshakeable discipline, and the confidence to handle pressure.

From the first bow to the last round, we’re teaching them how to be champions in life.

👉 Get started with our Kickstart Program: Click the link in our bio to get your kids on the mats!

Come see why both kids and parents love the gym and why it is a great after school activity.

17 years ago……..I decided on a whim to go to Thailand for the first time. It was a lot different back then to go. The gyms weren’t really there to cater to foreigners the way they do now. I barely knew any Thai. I went by myself and had one of the best times in my life. It was an experience I will never forget. It was the first time I left the US (not counting TJ) The first time I flew on a plane. I think the most important things I learned on that trip was gratitude, humility, and just sticking to your gut and trusting yourself to just go for it.
Don’t doubt yourself, you can do it if you want it. by @lilchuy77
