Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.- Confucius. 🌈 Sharing the beauty I see through a simple smartphone. ALL photos are mine!

Wellbeing & selfcare at work? Some say all it takes is to move your body, breathe slowly, communicate clearly (summary of annual FF-seminar) I'd like to add: connect with kindred spirits, build a caring community concerned with mattering, and encourage each other to be "failtastic" 🥳 #academia #wellbeing #work #mattering #community #sunsetphotography #sea #slowdown by @lillevillepersille

Once upon a time I had a partner who conducted research on lichen. I've always loved trees but this research helped me appreciate the beauty of these "tree lickers" (or more correctly: symbiotic organism composed of algae or cyanobacteria and fungi). #autumn #herfst #høst #lichen #korstmos #lav #nature #norway by @lillevillepersille

Primo October, autumn started in my region of Norway. Rain, wind, darkness, even frost. I prefer the warm, bright and long summer days but have to admit: the rain sure makes the colours pop 😄 #autumn #fall #herfst #høst #norway #nofilter #noorwegen #norge by @lillevillepersille

My last photos may give the impression that winter is never ending in Norway. Well, the winters are dark and long (6-9 months) but “baby, you can never hold back spring” (Tom Waits)! Due to illness I have been unable to post more frequently (sorry! Thanks for staying). But finally, you get a little taste of Norwegian summer 🐝too bad you can’t feel the wind or smell the roses ( which smell surprisingly sweet). I guess you’ll just have to visit Norway and experience it yourself 😎 by @lillevillepersille

Yesterday -24 Celsius, today only -19 😁still a cold Siberian wind, making it hard to take photos with a simple smartphone 🥶 my eyes love this kind of weather. My devices and fingers don’t. #nofilter #norway #fjord #winter #landscape #tree #sky #reflection #cold #frost #norge #nature #light by @lillevillepersille

A few days ago the extreme rain storm (aka HANS) swept over our region, causing severe flooding, erosion and debris avalanches. Today the sun came out and Drammen Pride 2023 (august 10-13) started. We’re still standing! Come and join us 😎 www. drammenpride.no #drammen #pride #norway #water #weather #rainbow #celebration #festival #loveislove @drammen.pride by @lillevillepersille
