Grateful for the Election … but praying for peace in our nation & in our government… praying against retaliation and violence. Praying for protection for the vulnerable. #prayerpractice #spiritualpractice #peace #loveheals #loveyourneighbor by @lillylewin

Today was a beautiful, hard day. It was my first All Saints’ Day without Rob @yeaitsrob . so grateful for the community of @staugustinesepiscopalchapel & @beeschristy ! I needed the space & place to grieve & remember & be reminded that death doesn’t have the last word. The sermon was beautiful. Go listen & watch on youtube. I’d forgotten that baptisms are also a part of the All Saints’ service. Celebrating
New Life & recommitting to the baptismal covenant was powerful for me today. The altar made this all very real to me. Waves of grief & gratefulness . Thankful for @staugustinesepiscopalchapel & the combination of All Saints & the Day of the Dead.

The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated from October 31 through November 2 to honor and welcome the spirits of deceased loved ones. Rather than a time of mourning, it is a joyous celebration of life and memory. by @lillylewin
