ʜɪ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ & ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ! I am Joanna, of Lilos Ohana Training & Behavior! You may notice this is a new page, but the journey is not new. I have been a certified dog trainer since 2013. I spent 2 years doing my course and then was able to work with dogs at a pet resort! While doing private training over the years. This truly fulfilled a lifetime of knowledge! I learnt and continued to learn so much over many years. We like to focus on low income and offering services to those who feel desperate or at a loss, or may just need some basic help! There is no limit! I finally find myself in a new era of my life, where dreams and goals are coming to fruition! Here I am! In the Crowsnest Pass! A place i have loved since a teenager, and finding myself wanting to give back to the community! I appreciate you for being here and following our journey, while learning along the way 😊 Follow for weekly training advice, Behavior advice and even nutrition and health questions! We have been through it all! Knowledge doesnt just come from books, it comes from life experiences! ALWAYS be learning 😉 #theCrowsnestpass #doglovers #dogtraining #alberta #mountainlifestyle by @lilosohana_x
Raising Dog's & Cat's can feel scary, stressful, daunting... Not knowing how your dogs prey drive will be! While it is different raising a puppy with an adult cat, doing the reverse isnt as simple... We offer dog to cat testing (in controlled environment), dog to cat introduction guidance, and dog to cat prey drive tips. At the end of the day, setting boundaries is key! We all have to SET BOUNDARIES within our own lives, Animal communication involves the same, and understanding your dog or cats body language and behaviors, allows us to understand when they may be trying to SET BOUNDARIES! once we understand those behaviors/body language then can we truly support and advocate for each of our animals, individually! We are not all the same! Being unique is part of the beauty! ✌🏼 & ♥️ by @lilosohana_x

Training a Husky "Heal" is 100% possible! This is Kenai! Practicing the 'Heal' - with a distraction - in a controlled environment! Without consistency, we lose the quick response. BUT, our dogs dont always forget what they've once learned! Its like riding a bike, but it has been a few year's and we are bad at balancing haha. It is something that takes PRACTICE!!! But the knowledge is there! So dont doubt yourself or your dog! Doubt creates more struggle for them and in yourself! Not to Quote Cesar Millan, but Calm and confident does go a long way! #throwback ✌🏼 & 💛 by @lilosohana_x
