Oregon, excited to be making you my new “home,” for a bit. How long? I truly don’t know, but will test the waters for a bit and see what God has in store for me! Found a place that has things that I love: 1hr to the coast and mountains, hikes, trees/foliage, the great outdoors, etc. Also great opportunities for transitions to a new challenge/speciality in nursing while being compensated well.

However, this has also been a bittersweet season. In relationships, you have to evaluate at times if you’re on the same path or not, and if not, make hard, life changing decisions. It’s the hardest thing leaving someone you love more than anything in the world. I’ve had all the feels: absolutely crushed, wept, sad, depressed, etc.

Most days have been better, but some days still catch up to you, and I think that’s part of being human and it’s ok. It even reminded me a bit of how maybe God feels towards us when we stray from Him and his ways and he WEEPS over us because He loves us and wants the best for us.

Honestly, I’m doing ok, because God is with me and his Word and his Spirit have been the calm at this time in my life.

This just to say that it’s good to take time to slow down, step back from dating and heal for awhile if you’re in a similar season. There’s no timeline to these things. But when I feel God lead me to a place of readiness to pursue again, I will heed to his will, not mine.

In Christ,
Mordy ❤️ by @lilpapi92
