Hei, tutustutaan! ❤️🤗

Hello, let's get acquainted! My name is Natali, but my Finnish friends call me Lina. It sounds short and succinct, so my account is called lina_meikki. I am a make-up artist who lives in the heart of Northern Savo, namely in the city of Kuopio. ❤️ If you will be passing through this city, then I invite you to my make-up. ❤️🤗

Very often my clients are interested in why I became a make-up artist, what prompted me to this? Since this is a frequently asked question, I decided to answer it right away for everyone :)

The answer is actually very simple. I am a creative person🧚🏻‍♀️. During my school years I loved to draw👩🏻‍🎨 and often took part in various creative competitions🎨. Then I wrote poetry and, according to some people, it turned out not bad. Then i was fond of decoupage🧤🧳 and embroidery with beads🪡💎. I was fond of everything, went to classes, really wanted to get acquainted with different types of arts in order to find something to do🏞🧗🏻‍♀️🎭. There has always been a craving for creating something beautiful and unique🌸🦄.

And, of course, that period of time, like many girls, came when they wanted to "become beautiful🧖🏻‍♀️", to learn how to use good cosmetics🤓💄. Understand what and how to apply, so as not to harm the skin, but at the same time look unique and as natural as possible💃🏼. It's no secret that the choice of cosmetics in stores is huge now, but not everything that is sold is of high quality and harmless✨. There was no one to tell me what and how, so I decided to figure it out myself😇. I read reviews and recommendations on the Internet👩🏻‍💻.

I decided to go through some of my older work and gradually bring it into my blog 🌸
Over time, I’ve accumulated many looks that I never had a chance to share. Now I want to revisit them with a fresh perspective, remember the stories behind their creation, and show the work that I still love and find relevant today.
So, there will be a few beautiful pieces from the archives here soon 💚

Perhaps one of the main reasons I didn’t share this photo series earlier was that I didn’t have any other shots where the makeup could be seen more clearly. That’s why this work remained in my archives for so long.🫣

Ehkä yksi tärkeimmistä syistä siihen, miksi en julkaissut tätä kuvasarjaa aiemmin, oli se, ettei minulla ollut muita kuvia, joissa meikki olisi näkynyt paremmin. Siksi tämä työ jäi pitkäksi aikaa arkistooni.🫣

The “divorce lines” are back in action! 😄

That’s the humorous nickname Elyse Rogers gives to the little “11 lines” between her eyebrows. The name comes from her first marriage, which lasted 13 years.

After her first marriage ended, she briefly tried Botox, but it didn’t suit her. In fact, she experienced an allergic reaction, so she decided it wasn’t the right path for her. Since then, she has embraced a more natural approach to beauty, choosing not to do those kinds of treatments and instead opting for the occasional professional facial each month when she can.

Today, she’s happily married to her husband David, and they’ve been going strong for over 18.5 years. ✨

Before her MAXX performance in Finland, our beauty team worked together to create a naturally lifted look. By using carefully placed braids, we achieved a subtle lifting effect, while the makeup enhanced her beautiful features and added definition to complete the look.

Sometimes, the right hairstyle and makeup don’t change who someone is – they simply highlight their natural beauty, personality and confidence. ✨
