POSTS STORIES REELS

20+ years ago, I was told I could end up in a wheelchair if I continued being so active.
I refused to accept that & decided to find a way.

I felt guided to go to Guatemala, where I met my teacher, the Chocolate Shaman, and had the most profound experience that changed the direction of my life. I worked with him for over a year, learning, healing and reconnecting with a wisdom within me that I had spent years overriding.

l’Il always be grateful for what he taught me and for the role he played in my journey.

It has been a road of twists & turns, many highs and lows. but through it I have learnt so much about myself and how to meet each challenge with strength, faith and love.

Life has continued to teach me that my body is not the obstacle, it’s the messenger.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be firey and very reactive at times- which has an impact on stress levels over time and isn’t who I want to be. I am a very deep person, and can carry the weight of the world on my shoulders- constantly worrying about the state of the world, feeling like i need to take action to help, a natural activist - constantly fired up about the injustices in the world. All of this just slowly etched away at me and my nervous system over time. Which was a huge revelation in my work with cacao.

Now I’m learning something different. What if we don’t have to push against ourselves to create the life we want? What if we can follow what lights us up? And from that place be the light for others… 💓✨

Create from flow. Listen to our bodies. Trust our own rhythm. And still go after our big dreams, that’s what I’m learning now.

Not to play small & I’m not giving up, but I have definitely decided that forcing a way forward is not for me. And I’m finding the way that feels right for me now.

Our natural rhythm isn’t something to fix.
It’s something to follow.

As always, I share my huge gratitude for my teacher, Keith Wilson, The Chocolate Shaman. In his memory. For all that he did for me, the wisdom he shared and the deep healing he guided me through 🙏🏽🤎

Hi, I’m Lisa 🤗

I wanted to properly introduce myself for those who have just joined my cosy space over here 🤍

On paper, I’m a life coach, The Chocolate Coach, founder of Amor Cacao & Sisters Thrive. (Amongst many other things!)

I moved from a 20 year career in medicine- putting people to sleep for a living an anaesthetic practitioner to now waking them up- to the power and potential they hold within them.

And I do it mostly through meditating with chocolate - and it’s fricking amazing! 🥰

But more than anything, I’m passionate about what becomes possible when women stop trying to fit ourselves into a life we’re told we ‘should do’.

I’ve spent years learning this myself:
Learning to listen to my body.
To trust my intuition.
To stop measuring my worth by how much I can do /achieve.

Learning that expansion doesn’t necessarily mean doing more.
- Sometimes it means creating enough space to finally hear yourself & let inspiration flow.

That’s the heart of my work ✨

Through coaching, cacao ceremony, retreats and our Sisters Thrive community, I create spaces for women to reconnect with themselves, explore what’s possible, and become available for more.

✨More joy.
✨More freedom.
✨More creativity.
✨More connection.
✨More of the life they’ve secretly been longing for.

You don’t need to try to become someone else to create that life. You just need to come back to yourself.

If that sounds like the kind of journey you’re on too, welcome & I’m looking forward to getting to know you!🤍 by @lisafearoncoaching

🤎 SHE’S EXPANSIVE - CACAO CIRCLE SERIES
🌿 CIRCLE ONE: REGULATE - Create Safety Within
✨ Sunday 18th October | 10am–12pm

I’m so excited to introduce The She’s Expansive Cacao Circle Series - a journey of 5 nourishing circles exploring what becomes possible when we stop fighting against ourselves and begin creating the inner space to expand.

We’ll journey through the four stages of my She’s Expansive™ framework - Regulate, Expand, Flow & Elevate. Bringing everything together in a final integration circle.
And we’re beginning with the foundation of it all…

REGULATE: Create Safety Within
- Because before we can grow & go after our big goals/ dreams we need somewhere safe to expand from.

So often, we’re caught in a cycle of pushing through, ignoring our needs and expecting ourselves to keep going - even when we’re exhausted, overwhelmed or running on empty.

Together, we’ll experience:
🤎 Ceremonial cacao and intention setting
🌿 Gentle grounding and nervous system awareness
📓 Reflective journalling and transformational coaching
🌸 An embodied practice to reconnect with your body
💗 A guided cacao meditation
✨ A supportive sharing circle with other women

I’ve turned 44 today and leading up to it I’ve been doing some soul-searching.

All those things that tend to come up when we near a birthday…

❓Am I really living my best life?
❓ Is this where I thought I’d be at this age?
❓ Am I doing the right thing by continuing with my business with a chronic pain condition that’s really impacting me. ❓ Should I move to live by the sea. ❓ Should I just rescue animals and have my own farm…❓How can I squeeze every bit of joy I can from life while I can? ❓

You know those sort of things… does anyone else go into spirals of deep thinking around birthdays like I do?! 😅

I actually find it really helpful to have these times of deep reflection- it’s where some of my biggest decisions come from and I really believe birthday cycles are great points to make pivotal shifts in our life. (I share more about this in my recent blog for anyone interested!)

Anyway - I decided I’d like to share my birthday with all of you!! By sharing a special promotion of 20% off all my cacao, ceremonies, gift boxes and coaching programs ♥️ And 44% off my Her Vision 1-1 coaching session ✨

Comment “44” to get the details for this special offer and code for the discount! Link to my shop in my bio - for your 20%

Offers ends at the end of the wknd! 27 Sept

Because when you get really clear on the life you’re creating, the next steps become so much easier to see.

It’s coming to the last few days of this petition and I wanted to share a video to support as it’s so important that we get it to 100,000 signatures so it can go to parliament!!

Thanks to the amazing work of @sanjuthinks, turning her experience of being fired from her job due to needing to take time off after surgery for endometriosis and making a stand for all women who have been through similar situations.

We are making a stand and saying things need to change!! In the UK there is still a huge amount of inequality in the workplace along with the level of discrimination in women’s health and this is where we start!

There are women extremely ill with some of these gynaecological conditions. And still they want to work and live a ‘normal’ life. But they need support in doing so.

(And this isn’t to say all women with endometriosis/ PCOS etc have these issues. It affects everyone differently.)

But for many women- these conditions totally take over your life. And working with these conditions, women NEED MORE SUPPORT.

It’s difficult as it is, but to have no support there to help you keep going, to feel like you have to keep proving your worth at work, defending time you have to take off, continually being made to feel like you’re not really that ill/ being over dramatic, making it up/ etc. It’s exhausting & really puts huge amounts of pressure on someone when they really can’t take much more.

♥️If you haven’t signed yet, please do! (And don’t forget to confirm in their follow up email.)

♥️Please share with friends, family, your networks. Share the petition across your socials - as most likely you will know someone really struggling with one of these conditions who needs this help.

*Please excuse the messy video! I’m just realising now that the edits are a bit clunky! But I’m exhausted & this is the best I can do 🙈😅 I had hoped to join the ladies with the petition around London but I just haven’t felt well enough to go, so I wanted to play my part how I can 🙏🏽💗

#endometriosis #adenomyosis by @lisafearoncoaching

Please sign the petition!!

Anyone from the UK can sign - you don’t have to have had endometriosis, it might affect you as a partner, family member or friend of someone who has this condition and you want to support them, or you just want to support!

And all support is so appreciated! ♥️

I was shocked that there was no specific guidelines for endometriosis as regards to requesting reasonable adjustments when I was at the hospital going through treatment and unable to work full time.

And the fact that no gynaecological conditions are listed in the Equality Act is just wrong, when there are hundreds of thousands of women who suffer with debilitating symptoms, trying to work within their means who are just being pushed out of jobs they could do with support, like myself.

I am supporting @sanjusticeuk to call on the UK government to include gynaecological conditions such as #endometriosis #adenomyosis #fibroids #PCOS, #PMDD , menopause & menstrual disorders as “impairments with fluctuating or recurring effects” in the Equality Act 2010 Guidance on the definition of disability.

For these gynaecological conditions to be listed as impairments in the Equality Act 2010 Guidance on Disability. To ensure employees disabled by debilitating chronic conditions such as endometriosis are supported with reasonable adjustments and protected against disability discrimination in the workplace by law, so no one else has to go through what I did with being pushed out of a job and into financial difficulties!!

Please click on the link in the comments/ bio or story to sign & share on your pages too! 🙏🏽♥️

We just need over 40,000 more signatures to take this to parliament! 👏🏽👏🏽 by @lisafearoncoaching

I’ve been feeling a lot of tension in my body lately. And even more of a battle in my mind - to not be pulled into despair and loss of hope. I don’t believe in forcing positivity, but in order to function in this world I have to live with hope. And I’ve really observed this starting to slide this year and I’ve had to become intentional about what I allow to come in.

I don’t think we’re meant to carry the weight of the whole world every time we pick up our phones.
Lately I’ve noticed how quickly my mind can be pulled into fear. One headline becomes another. The algorithm I’m being fed is of a hopeless outlook for the future.

Before long, my nervous system feels frazzled & it really drains me.

I could just stop following and ignore it, (as I’ve been told to do by many people.) But I care deeply about what’s happening in our world and I hate to see people suffer. And even more - watching the constant ignorance and negligence of our government -and seeing the negative impact of that as we’re being exposed to an ever-growing toxic environment. The clear corruption, allowing the destruction and pollution of our natural environment- our waters, ancient forests, our food…

I just can’t ignore this & I don’t want to become indifferent.

But I’ve realised there’s a difference between being informed and being overwhelmed.
When I notice myself spiralling, I try to come back to these questions:
♥️ What is actually true in my life, right now?
♥️ What can I influence today?
♥️ What kind of energy do I want to contribute to the world?

For me, protecting my peace isn’t about avoiding reality. It’s about creating enough inner steadiness that I can meet reality with compassion, hope and intention, rather than fear. Because I just can’t function in that fear state.

That’s a practice I’m still learning every day. And some days it can be a huge battle.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Is anyone else finding this difficult? How do you maintain balance?♥️

For anyone finding this difficult - I’m sharing how I’ve been managing my energy and emotional state in a free workshop tonight and Friday 1pm. The link by @lisafearoncoaching

I used to think consistency meant pushing through no matter what.

This last week reminded me that consistency can also be listening to your body, slowing down when it feels needed and returning to yourself instead of forcing.

The heat, our busy trip to NY along with jet lag then trying to keep everything moving, left me feeling so frustrated that my body wasn’t working with me to keep to the plan!

But I’ve realised by now that every time I’ve ignored my body and pushed harder, I’ve ended up further away from the life I’m trying to build. Or it’s come at a cost.

It’s not easy, it’s still a constant practice of realising I’ve gone there again- trying to push myself to be productive, squeeze more out of myself. And reminding myself that there’s another way - a way that means choosing myself over results.

Women work very differently to men, we are cyclical and we have ebbs and flows. The more we surrender to that and honour that internal rhythm we have, the more we come into flow state. This is what really living life without limits looks like.

Allowing flow, removing the barriers and boundaries we’ve been conditioned to put around ourselves. Of what we can and can’t do. Of what it looks like to be productive. How we have to work hard to achieve.

That’s why I created Sisters Thrive - because I know how important it is to be part of a community of women who are committed to moving away from old ways of working and approach life from their most flow state in order to live life without limits.

Women who are ready to stop measuring their worth by how much they can push themselves to achieve, and start creating a life that actually feels more joyful and sustainable.

Can anyone relate to this??

I’m sharing our new community 90 day journey called She’s Expansive this week - sharing about the process that I’m literally living myself right now. To stay balanced despite all the noise & chaos, connect within to be in my flow state so I can take inspired action that leads to effortless manifestations 💓✨

Come & join one of our free workshops - tonight & tomorrow 13/14th July 7-8.15pm and Friday 1-2.15pm - Link in bio x

The biggest lesson life has taught me so far:
Learning to listen to my body.
For years, I was really good at overriding it.
Pushing through.
Keeping going.
Achieving.
I thought that was great strength.

Every time I ignored the nudges, my body found a louder way to get my attention.

Now I’m learning a different way.
A slower way.
A way where I come from a balanced state.
I tap into my higher consciousness.
Where I listen before I decide.
I create space before I move to the next thing.
This is why I love my cacao ritual.
It’s not about escaping life.
It’s about creating a moment to come back to myself.
To ask:
🤎 What is my body trying to tell me?
🤎 What do I need today to be in flow state?
🤎 Where am I trying to force & can let go?

This is still something I have to practice daily.
Learning to calm my nervous system.
Learning to trust.
Learning to become available for the life I want.

What is your body trying to tell you today? 🤎✨
