Es war schön, Dich bei uns zu haben. Zwischen dem FIBA-Programm war the YARD Berlin Dein Platz in Kreuzberg. Das Zimmer, das Frühstück und der Pool. Danke, dass Du das mitgenommen hast.

It was lovely having you with us. Between the FIBA days, the YARD Berlin was your place in Kreuzberg. The room, breakfast and the pool. Thank you for bringing that with you.

What do you do when you break your phone in Berlin? You go MERMAID SWIMMING! Duh 🧜🏾‍♀️✨ Second slide is how Mermaids look from the sky 😍✨❤️

🏨 The pool at @littlebighotels THE YARD was big enough for my mermaid tail! And thank all the staff for making sure I was able to get around with a phone! 😂

📲 How did I even break my phone you ask? I’ll tell you later! 😂😭 Right now just enjoy me in my new Mermaid tail and this orange on some brown skin 😍❤️✨

FORGOT MY LUBE! Now I can’t get it on! 🧜🏾‍♀️

🧜🏾‍♀️✨Decided to get some MERMAID practice in MY FIRST TAIL! Went down to this beautiful pool at THE YARD Hotel and realized I forgot my LUBE…🫣😱

🧜🏾‍♀️ Listen! Getting this tail on is NOT easy! Especially when you’re by yourself 😂 I learned that we can use some lubricant to rub on our *non existent human legs* to get our tails on! However, I forgot mine 😂

🧜🏾‍♀️ But once I get my tail on, we swim!!! Watch til the end! I’m getting better! 🥹

🏨 One of my favorite things about @littlebighotels THE YARD is their Indoor Pool! Sitting right under a Sunroof, this pool can be used until 10pm! You can come in here no matter the weather outside! It feels so good! And this area also comes equipped with a sauna and showers! Talk about super relaxation!!!

🧜🏾‍♀️✨ What do you guys think? You like my new tail?! How about how it looks in the pool? We just have to figure out a way to get this on faster before they realize I actually have legs! 😭🫣🧜🏾‍♀️✨

My knees failing me led me to BERLIN, GERMANY 🏀📍🇩🇪

🏀 I haven’t picked up a basketball in umpteenth years but for some reason, when I see one I still think I got it!

⛹🏾‍♀️ My knees and my conscience said girl please!!! You ain’t her no more! You’re in your rich Auntie Era! At first ai cried, but then I realized I get to go on vacation and get lit! While the professionals play!

🏨 Getting to stay at one of my favorite places @littlebighotels THE YARD was a dream! Can’t wait to take y’all on a tour of this beautiful gem in Berlin! Be on the lookout for my blog write up! You might see a Mermaid 🧜🏾‍♀️

🏟️ Shoutout to @uberarenaberlin for your immaculate VIP experience during FIBA! The food! The drinks! Our private entrance! Leather seats and personal merch store! Whew!!! A time was had in those suites!

🏀⛹🏾‍♀️ Congrats to my faves on TEAM USA for winning another GOLD at FIBA! And I got to experience it all in the best way!

✨ I think I like this Rich Auntie Era! My knees will thank me later 😭 I might can still hang tho! I was a defensive force babyyyyy! 😭😂

I did not have “new favourite Berlin hotel” on my Berlin bingo card 👀 #ad

This was my eighth trip to the city and I was fully prepared to book the same place I usually stay out of habit. Very glad I didn’t!

We stayed at LINDEMANN’S this time and it just worked so perfectly for the trip we had planned. Our Urban Roof room gave us our own little outdoor space, the room itself was really comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the whole hotel just feels considered 🫶

Oh, and how could I forget the coffee flat? Every day from 1-9 guests can get unlimited coffee in the beautiful lobby. The perfect pit stop for a day of exploring!

It also ended up being a really good base for exploring a different side of Berlin. We found parks, beer gardens and little neighbourhood spots nearby that had somehow escaped us on seven previous visits, while still being really well connected when we wanted to head further across the city.

Also, tiny detail, but the fragrance in the lobby somehow transported me straight back to China 😂 I love when a hotel actually creates a feeling rather than just looking nice. @lindemanns_berlin can you please let me know what this scent is?

And if you fancy staying here for yourself, I’ve got a little bonus for you too 👀

You can get 5% off your booking with LINDEMANN’S using code RYAN5.

📍 LINDEMANN’S, Berlin
Potsdamer Straße 171–173

50 Jahre David Bowie in Berlin 🧑‍🚀
