Before becoming a parent, you never realise just how much time you’ll spend on the floor.

Reading books. Building towers. Tea parties. Cuddles after a tumble. Those everyday moments quickly become the ones you’ll treasure most.

That’s exactly why every Little Fae playmat is designed to be more than just something that looks beautiful. It needs to be soft enough for little knees, practical enough for everyday life and a space the whole family genuinely enjoys spending time on.

Because when you’re on the floor this much… comfort really does matter. 🤍

Hard floors aren’t always the most inviting place for little knees and hands.

A cushioned playmat instantly creates a softer area for floor play, whether they’re learning to roll, practising sitting or spending hours surrounded by their favourite toys.

Sometimes the simplest additions become the most-used.

Because playtime isn’t supposed to stay perfectly tidy.

Painty fingers, snack crumbs, building blocks everywhere and toys that somehow migrate across the entire house.

Our playmats are designed for real homes and real children — giving them somewhere comfortable to make all those little memories.

The reason we love reversible design?

Your play space can change whenever your room does.

Turn it over for a completely different look, move it from nursery to living room, or simply switch sides when you fancy a refresh.

Two designs means twice the styling possibilities.

You don’t need a dedicated playroom to create somewhere special for them.

A playmat, a basket of favourite toys and a few books can transform an unused corner of the living room or bedroom into their own little space.

Simple, practical and somewhere they’ll naturally gravitate towards throughout the day.

Morning books. Building blocks. Snack breaks. Toy cars. Dolls. Puzzles. Afternoon chaos.

A playmat quickly becomes one of the most used spaces in a family home.

That’s why ours are made to be comfortable, practical and easy to live with every single day.

Neutral playmat of dreams ☺️

Love, love, love our new Cornish Olive Thalassa playmat from Little Fae - it’s where you’ll find me and the little man for the foreseeable.

Plus, a big shoutout to the personal customer service from founder, Jess, who couldn’t have been more helpful 🙏🏻

No folding it away whenever somebody knocks at the door.

Our designs are created to become part of your room rather than something you feel you need to hide.

Style it in the nursery, playroom, bedroom or right in the middle of the living room and let their play space become part of your home.

Let’s be honest.. it was always going to happen 💁🏼‍♀️

I can’t shout about these mats enough. My auntie came to stay and we decided that replacing our @littlefae_official play mat was absolutely necessary! Our last one was ruined by the dog (after a year of very heavy use to be fair) and I bought a temporary one on Amazon for £30 but it just didn’t compare. You get what you pay for, and with all the wrestling, crafting and chaos that goes on in this house, we simply couldn’t be without our fave mat 🫶🏼

Those early days change so quickly.

One minute it’s tummy time and rolling, then suddenly they’re sitting, crawling, building, drawing and turning the whole room into their latest adventure.

A comfortable play space that can grow with them makes all the difference.
