A quick update for our couples and planner friends 🚨

USPS postage rates are increasing this July, impacting any invitation mailings sent after July 12, 2026.

If you’re planning a 2026 wedding, this is an important detail to keep in mind as you finalize budgets and mailing timelines. And for our fellow stationers and planners, a good moment to revisit estimates and client conversations for the year ahead.

As always, we’re here to guide every step, from design to delivery, so nothing feels unexpected along the way. 💌 by @littlepostagehouse

“Wait… that stamp is OLD. Did USPS reissue it?” 👀

Nope! These are the real deal! 💌

One of the things we love most about vintage postage is that USPS stamps don’t expire!

So that beautiful 6¢ stamp from the 1960s? Still worth 6¢ in postage today! The same goes for the other vintage stamps you see here, regardless of how many decades ago they were issued.

The trick is simply combining different denominations to reach the postage amount required for your envelope! 💌

It’s November… let the holiday season begin with something old and something new! ✨

We cannot believe this year marks the sixth year of our annual Santa Letter tradition! We started during the pandemic, when children couldn’t visit Santa in person. Since then, some families have welcomed these letters into their homes every single year! It means the world to us to be a small part of their Christmas traditions. 🤍

And this year, we have something new to share! We’ve poured so much love and energy into our holiday card design studio, which brings you into the design process with us! Choose your favorite design, add your photo, and explore colors, patterns, envelopes and liners… all while watching your card come to life on screen.

Once you’ve created something you love, our design team prepares an official proof for your approval before getting your card ready for print.

For our past couples, clients, and longtime followers, we have a little thank-you for you. DM us or comment HOLIDAY for a special friends & family discount on your holiday card order.

Our little apprentice is trading the printing press for a delivery route this Halloween! Neither rain, nor sleet, nor spooky streets will keep him from his trick-or-treating duties! 👻🍬

A little preview of where they’ll say “I do”! 🤍

For this Save the Date, we incorporated a custom watercolor illustration of the Tennessee River, featuring the actual view from our couple’s wedding venue!

We printed the illustration on translucent vellum, allowing the letterpress-printed details underneath to peek through.

Finished with a custom die-cut shape and ribbon, it’s one of our favorite ways to give guests a little preview of the wedding day before it arrives! by @littlepostagehouse

A few hundred menus. A few hundred names. And quite a few bows. 🎀

For this wedding, every guest received their own personalized menu, printed with their name and finished with hand-tied silk ribbon.

Each one was individually personalized, printed, die cut and tied by hand before making its way to the table.

We love a wedding detail that feels like it was created especially for the person receiving it. 🤍 by @littlepostagehouse

A house divided… but make it custom 🧡💙

Today’s tailgate is a little extra special here in Knoxville as Tennessee and Auburn meet again, and our clients are co-hosting fans on both sides!

We created these custom cocktail napkins with UT and Auburn pennants. 🏈

A neutral color palette does not have to mean a simple design 🤍

For this piece, we paired a soft taupe ink with an intricate floral illustration that was pressed and cut with a custom die-cut shape.

Without color competing for attention, the details shine. The impression adds dimension and texture, while the die-cut follows the shape of the illustration to create a piece that feels anything but simple!

We love using texture, shape and printing techniques to add interest to a neutral color palette. Sometimes you don’t need more color, you just need more detail. ✨ by @littlepostagehouse

Do you have to use a nonmachinable stamp to have your wedding invitations hand-canceled?

The short answer: No! 💌

This is one of the most common misconceptions we hear about invitation mailings!

A nonmachinable stamp is simply one way to pay the postage required for a nonmachinable letter, but the stamp itself is not required. You can use Forever stamps, vintage postage, or a combination of different denominations. As long as the total postage on the envelope meets the USPS postage requirement for your invitation, that’s what matters!

So if you love the look of vintage postage or a specific Forever stamp, you absolutely do not have to give it up in order to have your invitations hand-canceled. ✨

USPS and wedding invitation postage can be confusing, so keep the questions coming! What should we answer next? 💌 by @littlepostagehouse

Always love seeing these beautiful flat lays🤍

Delicate calligraphy, soft ivory details, touches of gold, and the sweetest hint of Tiffany blue.

The past months have been a little quieter around here . . . and for the very best reason. 💙

We’ve been soaking up every moment with the newest member of our family, and I’d like to officially introduce Little Postage House’s newest apprentice, Miguel (“Miggie”).

He’s a little too young to tie silk bows or mix letterpress inks just yet, but he’ll be learning the family business before we know it. His big brother has already taken his role as mentor very seriously, and we have a feeling these two will be spending plenty of time in the print shop together.

While I’ve been away from the studio adjusting to life as a family of four, our incredible team has been keeping everything running behind the scenes. I’m so grateful for each of them and for the love and support they’ve shown our family during this special season.

We can’t wait to share all the beautiful projects we’ve been creating and all that’s ahead.

Welcome to the team, little one. 🤍 by @littlepostagehouse
