Day 2 Mask - Redesigned Mandi & Crew
Last night I was playing around with the idea of revisiting a story I made in 2019, and what if I were to make it into a game. Which my original inspirations were “Inside”, “Undertale” “hunger games”, and “little nightmares”. The story follows a girl named “Mandi” who’s been an outsider to the “utopian” city, goes inside it.
.
A self contained “world”, the city looks more like a suburban neighbor hood where every thing is uniform. Even the people have no identity and wear masks. But there’s an underlying sense of dread every one has, and having to keep up with expectations destroys some. Mutating them into a horrendous monster.
.
I’m taking some time to rewrite characters and how I’ll approach this as a game. I’d like to make it a 2D side scroller where you point and click with the character Mandi. And you can interact with the civilians in the town. by @liuphrog
