Time to share my website with you, funded by @aceagrams Arts Council England as part of my DYCP year at Bodenham lake, a @herefordshirewildlifetrust reserve. I hope you enjoy engaging with it as it develops.

Thank you, Al @a_v.b , for pulling all of this together, for cheerleading for me and being the bravest, most beautiful advocate and human I could have the pleasure of knowing (let alone being related to).

Thank you to all those who have supported me during these early stages of my practice and for engaging with my journey so far. I look forward to sharing more creative space with you, and welcoming future connections and collaborations.

first saw these stripy little guys in October 2024, then this year in early July @___kruse and I had been watching a female on the lake when we spotted a couple of heads poking out from her plumage - brilliant 🧡

One month since my last visit to #bodenhamlakenaturereserve and the end of my DYCP year. It has never been far from my mind though.

Been spending time with early notes and footage - how it all began to unfold. Some such noticings will be on my website, which is very nearly there now. It feels big. Actually, it feels really fxxxing terrifying, and holds far too much hope for connection after a year of inward attention.

Listening to the sparrow hawk fledglings at Bodenham today reminded me of my sighting last year (checked the footage and it was 7th August 2024). How incredible it will be to have these comparisons to make in the years to come, dates to track my sightings. Such a gift.

The @herefordshirewildlifetrust volunteers have been doing such a wonderful job at the site since I was last able to join them, especially noticeable in the wet woodland and orchards today. The park ranger, Rosie, was also able to show us some fluted bird’s nest fungi she had managed to spot recently- what a treat! by @liv.mab

in way of thanks

spent time last week with locations across the site, writing out poems that had been written (thought up/ignited/toiled with) there

rehearsed, memorised, read them aloud -
then left them tucked away
