POSTS STORIES REELS

So…umm…I‘m launching a NEWSLETTER! It starts in ONE WEEK!! I’ll be sharing People of the Sun pages, stuff I think is cool, and general design/story ramblings. I made this illustration to introduce myself (also, how have I never done one of these before??). I‘ve been wanting to expand outside insta for a while now, and I’ve found myself with a large amount of creative energy and the time to use it (a rare combination). I’ll still try to post on insta every now and then, but I also feel like there is something I‘m left wanting with the way this app works. I miss connecting with my friends and artists I love. Anyways, I love you guys! Go follow me on Substack (@ liv2draw) + Bluesky ( @liv2draw.bsky.social), I’m sharing there much more frequently. #meettheartist #sketchbook #characterdesign #animationart #illustration #kidlitart by @liv2.draw

"SQUIRREL!" 🐿️ 🐾
This is my newest art for @boardwalkpuzzles ! I had so much fun designing all the dogs and I even modeled the dog walker after myself hehe 😅. It’s always an interesting challenge to make art for puzzles, because you have to make every area interesting enough for would-be puzzlers. ”SQUIRREL!" Is out now if you want to pick up a copy! 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

Some fun outcomes of experiments with Posca pens from my sketchbook. I love the bright colors they make. So spring-time vibes!
Insta kinda killed the quality, but I’ll be selling mini-prints of this at Grid THIS SATURDAY! Hope to see y’all there!

Just a witch and her cat, out for an evening flight 🪄🐯🧹 Imagine instead of a small house cat for a familiar, you had a giant bengal tiger instead! Swipe for the full image and close-ups of the town below. #animationart #visualdevelopment #kidlt by @liv2.draw

SENIOR BFA SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT!!! This is what I’ve been working on for the past couple months and it’ll be up at the WCCB Building in Provo. I would LOVE for you to stop by if you’re in town! HUGE thank you to all my friends, family, and instructors who made this possible! by @liv2.draw

#fanart of @robotatertot ‘s FLASHBANG!!
I’ve really enjoyed reading this comic so far, so I just HAD to draw fanart of its main character and namesake—FLASHBANG. I highly recommend checking out Tate’s comic if you like clear paneling and fun characters. It’s about a guy who stumbles into becoming FLASHBANG and has to learn how to fight crooked cronies and baddies of the town! Very Saturday-morning cartoon vibes!

Also, I’ve been very into textures recently so I included some closer crops of the cloud edges (because it was SO FUN to paint the hard and soft edges.) by @liv2.draw

✨I MADE A ZINE!!! ✨🪄Riso printed e-zine based on the song “NEW MAGIC WAND.” It’s a comic about a silly kitty who takes revenge after being dejected from a talent show. I’m selling 5 copies for 25$ each. DM me if you would like one:)

Revisiting an old character for a moment’s reprieve from BFA work (currently DEEP in the trenches😩) but it will be so worth it when it’s finished!!
.
P.S watch for an announcement about my Senior BFA show in the next upcoming days 😉

Expressions page from my visdev final a while back… it’s a witch student and her cow cat familiar ✨🐱✨ by @liv2.draw

Forest spirits party!! Environment piece I made a while back for my digital painting final.
Last anim artist has really helped me get over my fear of posting work I consider imperfect and just moving past the piece rather than getting hung up on things.

Gesture final (1/2)
Although I still have a ways to go, I have grown so much this semester. Not only has this gesture class taught me more about drawing and storytelling, but it has also helped me figure out more about myself and my personal voice.
.
Special thanks to @karlyjadec @fionaaruldassart and everyone else in the class that has helped me grow and develop this semester
