We were expecting this to be a real sleeper with a big block under the hood , but we’re surprised to see something a bit more docile 👀

After that big win in Dallas a few short weeks ago , you can best believe that JR.Todd and the DHL team will be ready for Q-1 tomorrow in #lasvegas

Steve Schmidt’s Pontiac Firebird begins today’s Throwback Thursday .
The Olds Cutlass and Pontiac Firebird were two of our favorite makes and body styles during the 90’s when it came to Pro Stock .
Renting motors from the Schmidt facility gave many racers an opportunity to to show up at the track and have a powerplant dropped into their race car and more than often with the correct tune qualified in the field .

Nothing like a real Muscle Car .

Race 5 of the Countdown is on the horizon in #sincity .
A lot on the line for all of the teams , the payoff could be a championship or it could be the difference in the crew getting an additional end of year bonus .
It’s gonna be #wildandcrazy .

Throwback Thursday

A quick glance back at the Top Fuel Dragster of Morgan Lucas , when he sported the Geico /Lucas Oil Colors along with #mavtv .

The Beer Wars in Top Fuel ..
The Kings of the sport .

Who doesn’t miss the days of Larry Dixon in the Don Prudhomme Racing /Miller Dragster and Kenny Bernstein piloting the Budweiser Dragster ….. along with #louiethelizard for a period of time .

Both of those teams did so much for the sport both on the track and inside of the boardroom .
One of the things that we often do not see in today’s world is activation.
Both Budweiser and Miller were part of Corporate America that elevated the drivers , teams and #nhra

The Texas Motorplex-Stampede Of Speed
Super Gas Winner Kyle Pawuk drove his way to victory in this 1962 Chevy Bel Air .

The all concrete surface at The Motorplex is something that many racers love ,as it enables them to tune their race car more consistently.

A (0.008) reaction time and a 9.920 on the back end in the final round , sure sound as though the team has found the Chevy’s sweet spot and the driver laser focused on the tree .

And we thought that Team Winston dominated back in the day with Alan Johnson leading the team along with driver Gary Scelzi .
As we fast forward here in 2026 and see the duo of Alan Johnson with Doug Kalitta along with Brian Husen and driver Shawn Langdon , the Kalitta Motorsports Top Fuel Duo is dominating the class and showing exactly how a two car nitro team benefits from the additional data .

We are witnessing history in the making !
