The addition of the Assamese Association of Poland (based in Warsaw) marks another meaningful expansion for the Global Assamese Diaspora network.

For regional socio-cultural organizations, registering in the global directory provides several key advantages:

Relocation & Student Support: Helps Assamese scholars, university students, and professionals arriving in Poland and neighboring EU countries quickly find local community guidance, accommodation tips, and peer networks.

Cultural Continuity & Events: Increases visibility for local gatherings, annual Bihu reunions, and pan-European events (such as Axom Milon), making it easier for community members to coordinate shared programs and cultural exchanges.

Mentorship & Professional Linkages: Integrates local members into the wider platform's career repository, student advice channels, and international panels spanning research, tech, academia, and industry.

Centralized Diaspora Directory: Allows members of the global diaspora to easily locate verified association leads and official community contacts across 100+ countries.

Community organizers and leaders representing other national or regional Assamese societies can register their groups directly through the directory portal at https://globalassamesediaspora.com/assam-associations by @livelifewithrups
