"As I'm drowning in the deepest sea, bring down your sirens, I'll give you all of me.." - DPR IAN

GOOD GRACE

That night, you were holding my hand, led me through the crowd. A concierge lady showed us the table where all your friends were already there, enjoying their dinner. The restaurant was full house with chattering from people who want to celebrate new year. We waved at your friends and joined them. We literally surrounded by floor-to ceiling window, with a view to a famous tower in the city.

As the time slowly getting late, we're getting close to welcoming the new year. Everyone gathered around near the windows, and all the lighting were off. Later, the countdown began to start, and finally the year changed as the firework from the tower blasted to color the night sky. Everyone cheered and congratulated each other.

I saw your eyes sparkle and I bet you pray for something good for your career. While me, actually my wish already came true, to cross a path with you was the dream that I always pray. But asking for one more wish wouldn't hurt anyway. I hope you stay in my good grace forever.

"Happy new year, darling!”, I whispered to you and kissed your cheek while everyone busy recording the fireworks.

"Is it a right time for a new year kiss?", you asked and I simply nodded to answer.

In Paradise, January 1, 2025.

It's such a late post, coz i've been preoccupied with busy life, work, and uhmmmm mental health. Finally, I have a time to post this beautiful art as a devotion for my darling @dprian . I requested this commission after the new year but failed to post it on time. Thank you, Kelpo, for accepting my ridiculous commission 😆😆😆

I hope everyone also like this art, the same way like what I'm feeling toward it.

Please do not repost this!
