Last night I was honoured to be named club person of the year for @southyarrafnc and runner up Best and Fairest 🏆 It is still all sinking in and I’m feeling very chuffed. I was even luckier to have my beautiful friends @charishogan @emily.alampi MC and present me my medal. I’m struggling to find the words to express my love for these people and this club. The mate-ship, support, banter and passion that surrounds me is incredible. In my second year with the Yarras, this has been a pretty bloody good one. I’m forever thankful for the open welcome I received joining the club, I feel like it was a missing piece to my Melbourne life that this country girl was desperate for. To me, getting in and volunteering is “just what you do”, I’m very thankful for the country upbringing from my family as well as from @jerilderiefnc where I’ve been around since I was in a pram. There’s plenty of times where I’ve been not wanting to go to training/having a bad week and without fail every time I leave Ryan’s Reserve with a massive grin on my face. Getting back into my netball after 5 years and meeting so many wonderful, hilarious, driven people has been one of the best things I’ve done. 🫶🏻🦁 #uptheyarras by @livv_elise

Millie, respectfully, get off me. by @livv_elise
The absolute fairytale. To finish 4th in a top 4 finals series, make it to the grandfinal and come back from being down 6 goals at 3/4 time to win by 2. Feeling like the most loved girl in the world, the best friends and family showing up to support us throughout the season and during our finals campaign. From not winning a game last year, this feels pretty epic. To my team, the most deserving, passionate, kind and hilarious group of women, I love you all so much. The best, most supportive, incredible club.Unbelievable. A day I will never forget. 🦁🦁🦁🦁 by @livv_elise
