Another love letter to @maxwhittaker, a New York Times photographer that comes with us on our @visitcalifornia meetings.

Every 10 months, we meet with a bunch of creators and the Visit California team to explore a new part of the state and talk about the state of the industry.

During the trips, we shoot a bunch of our own content, but one of my favorite things is seeing all the moments that Max captures. It gives me the opportunity to be more present with everyone.

Here are some of my favorites from our recent trip to Yosemite.
Thanks Max! by @localadventurer

We had the best time getting UTV rentals from @mad.moose and exploring just a bit of the 50,000+ acres in the area.

The UTVs are equipped with an amazing suspension system that made rock crawling so fun and easy, and our favorite moments were whipping around the sand dunes.

Now the question is, when are we going back and who else wants to go? by @localadventurer

One more post from Burning Man 2026 by @localadventurer

🔥🧍🏻‍♂️ Burning Man was not what we expected this year. In previous years, we explored a lot on our own. So when we decided to camp with some new friends, we wanted to experience BM like they do, so we prioritized group hangs and let go of the control.

Early in the week, I had thoughts that “I might not get to see a lot of art and It’s so slow moving with a bigger group”. But after a day or two, I realized it didn’t matter. I was here for the hang. We could be a crappy hotel room, in front of a stinky porto potty, or exploring the playa together. By the end of the week, we made so many memories. I experienced sides of Burning Man I would’ve never stumbled onto on my own. And I have a bunch of new friends that I already miss.

Shout outs to:
❤️ @asahwu + Theresa for inviting us to our first BM and showing us the way. There’s nothing like your first burn!
💜 @travalan_ + @itsdebbiee_ for renegading with us and introducing us to their family! Here’s to more sidequests, group outfits, and impromptu adventures.
💚 @nijahnance + @nels_on_time + @heyallencory for being the perfect trifecta to camp with. The camp mom, the most whimsical wizard, and the chillest dude out there. We love you all.
💙 @rchou01 for being the silliest giant we know. And for the stank face whenever there was a good song.
💛 @probablyjosh + @ginguuh + @justin.lu_ + @andrewdanks for coming in for a short visit but feeding us soooooo well.
🩵 @slluong + @taxdaddyandy + @makigooochi for bringing such warm and fun vibes on the most epic night. by @localadventurer

Thank you, @ToyotaUSA, for helping us drive around LA in style with the #Prius Nightshade PHEV in Karashi Yellow 😎🌴

We spent a week all over LA visiting friends and exploring different places, and we didn’t have to fill up the tank once! The Toyota Prius PHEV gets 48–52 MPG while still feeling and handling great. The Nightshade Edition, with its black badging and sporty look, definitely helped us stand out.

Looking forward to our next adventure with @ToyotaUSA! by @localadventurer

You can find @acorn_caricature’s all over Korea so we decided to pop in and give it a try. How do you think they did? Is it worth the stop? by @localadventurer

🍦🌈 This was perfect for a hot summer day in Vegas

So excited that the Museum of Ice Cream is open at AREA15. It has evolved so much since the first one we visited. We got VIP passes so we could skip the line, get a souvenir pin, and a free drink.

There’s a ton to explore inside but our faves are:
🍦Get Tatted at Lucky Cherry Ink
🍦Friendship Bracelets and Vows at the Little Pink Chapel
🍦Unlimited Ice Cream at The Golden Scoop (love that they feature @sorrynotsorrycreamery ice cream)
🍦Jump in the Giant Sprinkle Pool
🍦Bananas and Slides at Slide Sweet

Also, stop by Ribbons Costume Shop and rent clothes to wear during your visit. You’ll just have to leave a deposit in case you decide you love the pieces so much you want to take them home.
