It’s pretty simple, really. by @localcarpentry

Leave it to us. by @localcarpentry

I was obsessed with magazines when I was younger. I even tried to create my own music magazine in my late teens, and I used to make moc ads for it because I had no content to put in the magazine so it just ended up being 39 pages of fake ads.

Now I have a business I wish magazine culture was thriving so I could publish my own ads. But alas, all I can do is make them and post them here - because why not?

This is one I made that is a complete rip off of a 90s BMW poster. Not a huge car fan but I love car advertising from the 90s. by @localcarpentry

My reels never get any views so I thought jumping on a TikTok trend and posting it to Instagram might help. What ya reckon? by @localcarpentry

50+ beds later and I think we’ve peaked. Should we shut up shop and call it a day? by @localcarpentry

The contrasting tones in Blackwood are my Roman Empire. by @localcarpentry

Stained American oak and canvas corcetina screen for @urban_lupe store in Fitzroy. This is being used as a fitting room, and I promise the fabric has been steamed and looks a lot nicer in the store 😂

We used some really cool vintage German piano hinges that my workshop neighbour hooked me up with. Perks of working next door to a piano restorer.

One of my favorite things this year has been striking up a friendship with @___audric___ from Urban Lupe. Lovely guy, and extremely talented on the sewing machine. He tailored the canvas for these, and his attention to detail on even something relatively minor like these screens is second to none. Follow him at @theholeyalter, he has some cool things coming soon. We were also joking yesterday about collaborating on something for Melbourne Design Week next year. Was it actually a joke or….? 👀 👀 by @localcarpentry

Walnut vinyl unit for Tecwyn.

It’s been a minute since we have built one of these, still one of my absolute favourite designs. by @localcarpentry

American oak flick bedside tables for Danielle.

First time making these out of oak and I think it works really well. by @localcarpentry
