POSTS STORIES REELS

POV: Entering that time of year when celebrating death is as sacred as celebrating life. 🕯️✨

A look back at the power, the reverence, and the heartbeat of last year’s stage. As we honor our loved ones and the ancestors who have transitioned into the eternal, we revive.

This season isn't just about remembrance—it is a fierce permission to let old illusions and false identities burn away, leaving only what is real and transforming grief into liberation and acceptance.

As @ke_the_spirit invokes on the mic: “The Revolution Will Be Spiritualized...”

Deep gratitude and shoutout to our featured dancers holding it down: @censei7 and @blkwolfnasty 🔥✨

Come experience our new production in ceremony and love, live for Día de los Muertos.

SACRED TRADITIONS FOR DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS. 🕯️🌿✨

Día de los Muertos is not a passive memory—it is a active, living bridge between worlds. Through the smoke of copal, the vibrant gold of cempasúchil (marigolds), the resonance of the drums, and the sacred steps of Danza, we call our ancestors back home.

We are deeply honored to have Xiuhcoatl Danza Azteca joining us to open space, lift up copal, and bless the floor as we invite our beloved spirits into our presence.

Special note: Xiuhcoatl Danza Azteca will be blessing the space right outside Brava Theater tomorrow, Sunday, at 5:00 PM—just ahead of our 6:00 PM evening performance! We invite our community to come early to gather, reflect, and share in this sacred ceremony.

Esto No Se Vende is more than a performance—it is a sacred ritual of memory, community resilience, and cultural preservation passed down through generations.

📍 Brava Theater (2781 24th St, SF)

📅 TOMORROW, Sunday, Nov 1st | 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM (Outdoor blessing at 5:00 PM)

Before the candles are lit and the veil thins...🕊️

Rehearsal in this season is more than practice—it is a sacred process of letting go. From the step to the drum to the voice, we release what no longer serves to make space for Great Spirit to move through us, stepping into collective presence and devotion. Let's bring in that OYA fire 🔥 and purify our hearts and minds, so the inner transformation can begin.

In honoring death and the cycles of release, we open the door to celebrate life, community, and the Divine. Esto No Se Vende.

Come witness what has been cultivated in discipline and reverence.

RENDIMOS HOMENAJE. 🕯️🕊️

Today, as the veil thins, our hearts hold deep reverence and space for civil rights icon and legendary labor leader Dolores Huerta, who joined the ancestors today. Her relentless courage, spirit, and legacy live on in our movements, our voices, and every drumbeat we strike.

In memory, honor, and liberation, we lift up our beloved leaders, elders, and visionaries who paved the way:

🕊️ Dolores Huerta

🕊️ Don Pedro Rodriguez

🕊️ Dr. Jose Cuellar (Dr. Loco)

🕊️ Estela Reyes Garcia

🕊️ John Iesha Ene

🕊️ Juan Castillo

🕊️ Louie Romero

🕊️ Tigre

(and all those who walk with us in spirit)

Their spirits guide every rhythm we strike and every step we take on the stage. When the outer noise falls away, their memory remains our true, unwavering heartbeat.

Esto No Se Vende. Join us in carrying their legacy forward next Sunday, November 1, 2026 @bravatheater

POV: When you become the altar. 🕯️🔥

We move as an ofrenda—an embodied prayer.

Our sweat and fire rise like copal smoke, carrying our devotion to the nostrils of La Diosa. When the drum syncopates with the heartbeat and the skirts catch the air, the body itself becomes a living altar—a channel for ancestral technology passed down through generations.

Through every strike of the drum and every step of the dance, the Loco Bloco Dancers and Band embody a sacred truth that cannot be bought, sold, or contained.

Esto No Se Vende.

Come join us and let your energy be part of our offering.
