My 5th Studio Album “HABITUAL” is out now I would usually say it was a brutal, long, excruciating process to make an album, but not this one!! All tracked live to 16 Track 2inch Tape Machine, all analog, and mixed back through the same gear! It was recorded and mixed in 10 days. A band of amazing musicians, in a room, playing by gut and instinct, with a producer everybody respected and trusted 1 million percent. No more than 3 takes, no re-doing my vocals. Just fleeting 3-5min moments in time. Burnt into pieces of tape, still have no idea how that works 🤯. The result is my most straight down the line, honest band recording, hands down. Swipe across 👉 for in studio behind the scenes 🎬. All Songs written by Jordie William Lane © 2026 Universal Music Publishing (Aus/NZ) except Tracks 1, 2, 7, 10 written by Lane & Clare Reynolds (control) Produced by LOLLIES All songs recorded and mixed by Drew Carroll at The Bomb Shelter, Nashville, TN Additional engineering by Lollies and Jordie Lane at Hen House Studios, Nashville, TN Editing by LOLLIES Jason Burger: Drums Eli Broxham: Bass Trevor Bahnson: Guitars, Mandolin Doran Danoff: Piano, Hammond, Vibes Asa Brosius: Pedal Steel Guest Vocals: Nathan Evans Fox, Caylan Hays, LOLLIES. As a producer the main job is to make sure an artist is deeply heard and that the vision comes to life. But I also believe that the journey must be filled with joy Making this album with @ella_hooper has been pure adventure. A lot of highs, a few lows and hiccups, many studio sessions, so many talented musicans, many many months, thousands of hours..& I am so happy to say we made something to be proud of and laughed the whole way through. Congratulations Ella. I adore you. I believe in you and thank you for trusting me to run the ship 🙏🏼🥹 Thanks to the great @jordanlehning for mixing and @mrmaster3000 for mastering for us Thanks to @mickytheshrimp for your nothing is too hard attitude and helping us with some fix ups and redos and your all round skills🙏🏼 Thank you to my brilliant nashville crew of engineers and musicians @estesbass @philbronch @drewcarroll @laurhor34 @jordielanemusic @rheesw @trevorbahnson @rachelbaiman @themaureenmurphy 📸 @mackbvisuals by @lolliesmusic
Here tis! A true labour of love is this - my Nashville record - ‘Overnight Success’. It covers SOME ground; from musing on my obsession with and adventures in art making, to grief, to growth, to stripping off the last lingering layers of childhood to embrace well, I wouldn’t call it maturity; but whatever’s next. I hope there’s something in here that touches you, connects with one of your own mirror ball squares and beams a little light back into your day or night.. Xx Hoops by @lolliesmusic
Tied in a Knot is out today! 🎧 Listen wherever you stream music (link in bio) Art by one of my very talented neighbors @anoukvercouter A song about meeting my partner, going on an extended second date to Lisbon, and our first week together in Belgium. We both wanted the security of a partnership but were also slow and careful, worrying what it would mean to be truly vulnerable to another person. Playing with the idea of “being tied in knots”, anxious, but to “tie the knot” (coming from ancient handfasting traditions) symbolizing union and stability and just playing with those meanings. Thanks to @marybragg for coaching me as I figured out how to tell this story. Lyrics: Tied in a knot so tied together Won’t untangle or untether It’s a wonder how the anchor holds When the wind starts to blow Drinking lemonade at a tourist cafe. You tell me ‘bout your mother I know If we last long enough, we’ll disappoint each other Walking on down to the harbor’s edge, past a grand old plaza Your arm around me, look out to sea, don’t think about forever The boats are bobbing Riding at anchor Yeah, they roll and sway Tied in a knot so tied together Won’t untangle or untether It’s a wonder how the anchor holds When the wind starts to blow Nobody’s caught Not stuck, not stranded Hold tight to what we’re handed We’ll stay afloat when the boat begins to rock If we’re tied in a knot One pillow in a bed’s not enough for two heads And I am not a light sleeper You disappear to town, and I appreciate the gesture Every part of the market square presents a good solution For canoes in canals, for the doubter in dreamers Are we all just Loose Threads flying Twistin’ ‘till we Tied in a Knot Credits: Laura Cortese - voice, fiddle Matthew Douglas - voice, piano, saxophone Dom Billet - drums Rhees Williams - bass Gang vocals: Cleo Janse, Galine, Gianni Marzo, Hanneke Oosterlinck, Johannes Wannyn, Merijn Landuyt, Naomi Sijmons, Nele De Gussem, Sophia Ammann Produced by LOLLIES and Laura Cortese Recorded by @alliblois and @everaert.jonas Mixed by @bellaicecream Mastered by @mrmaster3000 @compassrecords @lolliesmusic @mattyb by @lolliesmusic
"Well I played dumb and I played dead now I'm too old for that. I stayed small and I moved slow - I got way off the track.. But I can catch me a cowboy man, ride side by side into the night. I will catch me a cowboy heart that's fully grown, ready to love.. me.." 🎶 Co-written and produced by @lolliesmusic 🍬 #cowboyman #ellahooper #countryrock #ameriCOWa by @lolliesmusic

@hannahhconnolly called Clare @lolliesmusic when they heard the news that Dolly had died. She wanted to get some friends together to sing Dolly’s songs. Friends in the neighborhood gathered and we did just that. Celebrating one of the absolute greatest artists and humans this world has ever known. We love you Dolly, may you rest easy, knowing you made and will continue to make our world a beautiful place! 🙏❤️ by @lolliesmusic
