Not just a missed opportunity, but a backwards step.
Public toilet provision and the London Plan: Statement by the London Loo Alliance. by @londonlooalliance

Thank you to @luketaylorld, William from @paulkohlersw19 ‘s team and Tabitha from Luke’s office who met some members of the Alliance yesterday. We discussed action to improve provision at a local, pan-London and national level. Thank you for the support. We look forward to working together with all the MPs we have met this week. by @londonlooalliance

Members of the Alliance were pleased to have an excellent meeting with @fleur_anderson_ and @bambosmp this morning to discuss the importance of public toilet provision. by @londonlooalliance

Here's a couple of photos of the team who were in Raynes Park last Saturday, asking members of the public for their view on public toilet provision locally. No one could name a public toilet in Raynes Park because there isn't one! You either have to go through the barriers at the train station, or go into Waitrose or some other business, and this is just not good enough. If you've read this far and not yet signed our petition to @merton_council, please sign and share it. The link is in our bio. Thank you! 🚽🧻 by @londonlooalliance

Today, we spoke to people of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds, and - as you can see in the photo - almost everyone agreed that public toilets are needed in Raynes Park. Thank you so much to everyone who engaged with us and signed our petition to @merton_council. We got a lot out of listening to you lay out the benefits of investment in public toilet provision. by @londonlooalliance
