When you want a break from wine this fall but still want something dry to drink with dinner, reach for one of our two hard ciders.

Our Napa cider is made from apples grown at our Mountain Estate, and our Mendocino cider is made from apples sourced from The Apple Farm in Philo. Both are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and slowly fermented for a crisp finish that suits the season.

After grape harvest comes olive harvest for us here at Long Meadow Ranch. At our Mountain Estate, olive trees grow alongside our vineyards, and we’ve begun picking the fruit that will become our organic extra-virgin olive oil. Just like our wines, the oil’s flavor reflects the terroir where these trees thrive. From the orchard, the olives go straight to our Italian stone mill and are pressed within hours of leaving the tree. What’s on the branches this morning is milled by tonight.

Harvest is the part of the year we look forward to most. Seasons of work in the vineyards come together quickly as fruit is picked, sorted, and moved to the crush pad within hours, sometimes minutes, of coming off the vine. So far, we are pleased with the quality of the grapes and are excited for what 2026 has in store!
