all i can see is red … til the light shines this original double project was a concept i planned and dreamed about 3 years ago. coming into syracuse university, i wanted to tell a story, i felt the things i was creating back then had no substance or impact on me. it felt redundant and boring. the first half of this journey which was shown last year (all i can see is red..), showed brighter/childlike hues of red, using the rose as a prop of the unknown. when creatives make things or create for others we are often stranded with no future. rather people using us for sales and generate income. the second half of this journey which is now being rolled out is (til the light shines..), shows a more matured and tone down look. this half shows that regardless of struggle/ problem a creative goes through there is light always at the end of the tunnel. hope overpowering fear! ..til the light shines, is where i am at today. more mature and ready for what’s next. focusing and envisioning this year on helping people who are in need. one of the more exciting things from this project is my brand new podcast called “Strictly Business” coming this winter, focusing on deeper conversations, pop culture news and so much more. Spotify exclusive video will also be paired with the upcoming release. more info to come! by @lookitsrohan
