Re-introduction post! It's been a while, so here goes... I'm the author of six published YA books here in the U.S.: ⚘️ DOON, DESTINED FOR DOON, SHADES OF DOON, and FOREVER DOON, a romantic adventure series set in Scotland that is a reimagining of the musical Brigadoon. (Co-authored with @careycorp) ⚘️GILT HOLLOW, a murder mystery with romance and lots of creepy, Halloween vibes. ⚘️OLIVIA TWIST, a genderbent Oliver Twist sequel about what happens when an orphan turned lady encounters a street thief from her past stealing jewels at a high society soiree. (Hint: It's the Artful Dodger) 🔮I am also the author of the DISNEY VILLAINS Series, HAPPILY NEVER AFTER that is being translated and released in France, Turkey, Japan, India, Australia, the U.K. and more! (No American release info as yet) This YA series tells the first love stories for each of these villains as young adults: VANESSA, GASTON, YZMA, CAPTAIN HOOK, AND THE EVIL QUEEN ❤️✨️🖤I've been a Disney fan since I could talk, so writing these books has been one of the greatest privileges of my life! ❄️UPCOMING RELEASE: I wrote a short story in the upcoming FROZEN Anthology, ALL IS FOUND that releases in the U.S. 11/7/23! My story is about QUEEN ANNA looking back on her relationship with her father and how he helped her find her identity. There are appearances by all your favorite characters, including Elsa! Personal facts: 🦋 I am a follower of Jesus Christ! 🦋 I've had Crohn's Disease since I was 23. *I don't allow it to stop me from living my dreams. 🦋 I met Mark Wahlberg once, and he asked me to hang out. *I had no idea who he was and said no. 🙄 🦋 I am married (not to Mark Wahlberg) with two wonderful sons. 🦋 My first job out of college was selling cars for Saturn. 🦋 I am the decendant of a Scottish Countess. 🦋 I love to travel and experience new cultures and people and food! 🦋 I'm currently writing an adult gothic mystery novel *And loving it! ⚘️If you've made it this far (Yay!), tell me a fun fact about yourself or which of my books you've read. #Disneylandparis #authorintro #authorsofig #disney #disneyauthor #disneyvillains #disneybooks #disneydream #happilyneverafterseries #yzma #Gaston by @lorielangdon_author
FINAL COVER!!! ❄️I'm thrilled to be a part of this 10th anniversary celebration of FROZEN! Has it really been ten years?! I took my youngest son to see it in the theater, and we were mesmerized by the animation, the music, and the courageous portrayal of a sister's selfless love. Despite Elsa's beauty and power, I KNEW the hero of the story was ANNA! 💙 I can't believe I got to write a story from Queen Anna's POV as she flashed back to her unsure childhood self and the day she saw her worth through her beloved father's eyes. 🥹 I had so much fun writing cameo appearances by Olaf, Oaken, Kristoff & Sven, and even Elsa! 🤗Oh, and a BIG WARM HUG to everyone who has pre-ordered and made ALL IS FOUND an AMAZON #1 New Release!!! 🎉 Secure a copy of this gorgeous hardcover edition today! #allisfound #allisfoundanthology #disneylife #disney #disneysfrozen #frozen #frozen2 #doonseries #author #authorssupportingauthors #gilthollow #authorsofinstagram #Oliviatwist #happilyneverafterseries #disneyvillains #queenanna #Elsa #olaf #kristoff #oaken #elsaandanna #annaandkristoff #disneydream #disneyaddict #disneycharacter #disneylife by @lorielangdon_author
She's here!!!! I feel like I've wanted to release a novel for my adult readers FOREVER! The Death of Daria Donaldson is that novel! 📚 If you like atmospheric settings, suspense, cat and mouse games, unreliable narrators, whodunit mystery, morally grey heroes and a bit of romance this is a book for YOU! ‼️ Available on all formats (no audio as yet). 📱Everywhere books are sold online! 📙 THE DEATH OF DARIA DONALDSON Penniless and with nowhere to go, Daria Donaldson thinks it's a miracle when she receives a letter naming her as heir to a fortune. Until she follows the summons to an isolated mansion and learns that five others have received the same letter. A widowed barrister. A London journalist. A Scottish golfer. A West End actress. And the enthralling Gabriel Drakos, who clearly isn't the gentleman scientist he claims to be. None of the six strangers recognize their hostess. But the lady of the manor knows them all too well. Well enough to pit them against one another in a race to uncover her true identity and win her fortune. Her puzzles and cat-and-mouse games will drive some to the edge of their sanity and provoke others to violence. One by one, each houseguest will disappear, leaving Daria alone with her mad hostess and a man who she realizes, too late, is conning them all. #gothicromance #historicalfictionnovel #Bookstagram #oliviatwist #newnovel by @lorielangdon_author

Life lately... It's been a crazy six months with personal loss mixed with beautiful life and blessings. But so much good is on the horizon! I have SO MANY amazing things to share for my readers!! 🎉 Book announcements, cover reveals, events, film adaptations and more! And I have a new agent! It has been three years of writing with my head down and a lot of 'NO's.' Rejections from publishers, cancelled book releases, me saying No to the lit agency I was with for over a decade, no to publishers demanding graphic content for young adult books, a book deal that was revoked by the publisher for reasons that had nothing to do with me or my book. And yet...all the YES's have begun to fall like a refreshing rain and I cannot wait to share all the beautiful news with you!!! 🌈 Here's the takeaway for anyone in a creative field: it isn't always the most talented folks who succeed. It's those who don't give up when things get hard. If you persevere through the darkness, light will find you! 🕯 by @lorielangdon_author
