Once someone found my ministry (@leadinglovingit ) by Googling the phrase: “I’m a bad Pastor’s Wife.” I wondered what made her think she’s a bad pastor’s wife.

Did she feel she couldn’t live up to people’s expectations? Well, I can’t either. We can’t make everyone happy. We’re bound to disappoint someone, maybe a lot of someones.

Did she worry she couldn’t live up to her own expectations? I can relate. I often fall short of what I feel I should do or who I should be. I’m notoriously hard on myself. I find it difficult to extend grace to myself.

So, pastors’ wives, God knows exactly who you are and how He made you. He has put you in this role knowing all your faults, failings, and shortcomings. He knows you are exactly who He needs in this place, at this time. Rest in that today. You’re an amazing pastor’s wife. 💛 by @loriwilhite

Twenty-one years ago, we drove across the desert to start the adventure of a lifetime. Getting to serve at Central over the last two decades has been an extreme honor and joy. Who would've thought two Texas kids would find home in Vegas? Only God! And we are so thankful. Here's to another year together, Central family. by @loriwilhite

Depression and discouragement have plunged me into darkness. I've felt like the lights have gone out in my life, and desperately wanted my life to be flooded with light again.

These are just six of the simple things I did when I felt like I was surrounded by darkness. I entered into His joy and embraced His presence in a whole new way. It didn't mean there weren't still hard days, but it meant that on the hard days I was choosing to chase Jesus and chase joy. And slowly, the dimmer switch of my life turned the lights on again.

Drop these below so I know how to pray for you:
🖤 = The lights are off in my life now. I'm desperate for light to flood my life.
🤎 = The dimmer switch is part way up, but I need the light to come on fully again.
💛 = The lights are on, and I'm thankful for this season.

Still soaking in all that God's done ... not just over two days but over the last 15 years. The Lord surrounded us with His presence, power and goodness. And I'm changed.

Conference never happens without the prayers, planning and prep of an army of amazing people. So, let me give some shoutouts to some of the members of that servant army.

📣 Brandi. Can't believe God gave us the gift of getting to do this together for years. We're not done yet!

📣 Emma: My favorite girl. It's pure joy to get to serve the Lord with you! I'll never get over the fact that we get to do ministry together. Thank you for pouring out your gifts of worship, teaching & content creation to pour into the lives of ladies. Love you, Sis!

📣 Hosanna, Robin, Tara, Julie, Noel & Margaret ... and Patriece, Allyson, & Liz: You called us up to higher trust, faith and love. And called us back to the Glory of God! Not only have you poured into this conference for many years, but you've gifted me with the sweetest friendships. So insanely thankful.

📣 Ali, Whit, Emma, Brandi, Laura & Nikki: You've met for months pouring over every detail. You bring excellence right alongside servant heartedness and fun. Best team ever. Love y'all!

📣 LALI Team: You taught breakouts, served and lifted up other leaders with everything you had ... and did it all with a smile. I love serving the Lord with you!

📣 Central Team: You are the backbone of Conference. We could not do it without you. Linking arms with you as we serve Jesus together is the greatest privilege. And to all the guys who served, you're rockstars!

📣 Emery, DeeDee, Chellie, Ariel, Nicci, Nancy, Eryn, Joyce, Laura, Emma, Patriece & the guys in the band: This was the most powerful worship yet. The depth of your love of Jesus was evident. You led us right to the feet of Jesus. I can't thank you enough. I adore you all.

📣 Danielle, Emma & the communications team: You're brilliant. Thank you for capturing all God was doing at this conference so powerfully and beautifully. Your creativity was everywhere! We couldn't be more grateful.

📣 Leslie & the photography team: You girls are behind the camera and rarely in front but chronicled conference p by @loriwilhite

More of His goodness.
More of His compassion.
More of His mercy.
More of His patience.
More of His love.
More of His faithfulness.
More of His presence.
More of His glory.
Because the more we were made for is more of Him.
