Was a huge win for anarchy and intuitive stretching. There was also the love and the breathtaking musicianship and the unspeakable beauty of it all..........and that magical place beyond words, Funkhaus #PEOPLE by @love_burg
This is the music of deep contemplation - of the small moments, the secrets of the universe, and the unspeakable beauty of it all Self titled album by Ex-Swordsmen is out now —//—//— It seems a bit odd that this is the first thing I have ever properly released of my own music and it’s been cool to explore this side of the process. The decision to just put something out was an experiment but I am proud of the works themselves. Circularly that’s how the songs came to be in the first place - experimenting with some sort of production tool or idea that became the perfect vessel for a voice inside that I usually keep quiet. Thanks for all the kind words so far. It’s been a great journey and has solidified an identity with ambient bass music. More to come Big love to the folks I sampled on track 1 @maddgalaxy @jazzogic @heretosaveyouall I do indeed mean to say you can love a piece of buttered toast #ambientbassmusic #ambient #bass #ex-swordsmen #thefullloaf #sagaofrestfulness #theimpossiblebeautyofitall by @love_burg
I have loved this album so intensely since the moment it was created and it has haunted me ever since. Sometimes it carries me, sometimes it crushes me… in the same way, I wanted this album to come out more than any other Mac album and now that it’s here, I feel his loss so acutely This is a masterpiece of philosophy and flow state. All these songs represent a moment in time. They were each finished in a day or two, the bulk of them in the first two weeks of March 2014. Nothing was added or removed. We finalized the playlist from playlists that Mac himself created. There are no features on this album, everyone was just there and were an intrinsic part of this creation. If there a list of things I was here on this planet to do, this is one of them by @love_burg

@hizzoq out here making it look easy. Happy Mother’s Day to the creator and former home of my two favorite munchkins by @love_burg
My dear buddy @maddgalaxy just released this excellent self titled debut. Chock full of extraordinary characters, I think you’ll really enjoy it. If you ever heard me ramble on about (or were actually dragged into) the free form jams on a Tuesday night at SevenGrand, Ben is a founding member. This is an evolution of that in a lot of ways but also explores his strengths as a songwriter as well as his customary menu of killer sounds from his studio in Long Beach. This album rips, give it a run by @love_burg
