We never give up on the Palestinians however tough the journey may be at our end... by @loveaidsg

In tears just watching so many Palestinian children benefitting from the generous donations of kind-hearted Singaporeans.

Keep it up Singaporeans and thank you for standing on right side of humanity! by @loveaidsg

Palestinian children never stop to enjoy life despite the ongoing genocidal war.

Thank you Singaporeans for making it happen... by @loveaidsg

We tried to summarise what went on this week in our humanitarian initiatives at Central Gaza.

The key takeaway is the beautiful surreal paintings done by one of our teachers and hopefully we can create a studio museum for these drawings to be showcased.

We will set aside one of the classroom space for such a unique experience of showing the sufferings of the current genocidal state in a art form.

The new school building is also currently undergoing some basic renovation and repainting so the children can better enjoy the facilities afterwards.

A group of young women also gone through a wellness session at our Singaporean-funded Polyclinic and hopefully we can continue to carry out such sessions regularly.

We are still trying to register our organisation with Palestinian Authority Ramallah and there are some hiccups but nothing serious that will hinder our way forward.

Thank you Singaporeans for standing on the right side of humanity. by @loveaidsg

Our Singaporean-funded polyclinic continues to operate pending the approval of our registration in Ramallah.

Please pray that the application will be approved soon so that our humanitarian initiatives can continue uninterrupted. by @loveaidsg

We just added another new school building to our four other educational facilities by @loveaidsg

A quick tour of our new school facility in Central Gaza whereby 300 new students are added to our current educational pool of close to 1500 Palestinian children.

The students study for free - thanks to the generous donations of kind-hearted Singaporeans.

The new building costs USD $5,300 per month in rental and have more than ten classrooms to boot.

We appreciate any donations to offset the rental cost plus the extra hiring of 20 over new teachers at $400 USD each a month.

They are mostly new graduates at the top of the cream of their faculty of learning.

The new school facility will jack up our monthly budget to almost USD $65,000 from the previous $50,000 USD.

Our current monthly donations have also drop off drastically and stands at $35,000 to $40,000 on average which means we have to pluck the shortfall from our surplus.

Thank you Singaporeans for standing on the right side of humanity with me all this while. by @loveaidsg

Glad to have so many guest speakers gracing our event last Sunday 18th October though the crowd size dwindled to less than 100 probably due to the haze.

Usually, we have a full-house of about 130 to 150 participants at most of our events so the low turnout was hard to swallow.

We thank everyone who have turned up last weekend despite the haze threatening our health and wellbeing - so the low turnout was entirely expected.

Many stayed home understandably and we are appreciative of those who have turned up faithfully.

We will be taking a short hiatus towards the year-end and our next humanitarian event will resume early next year with a new format.

Please stay tune... by @loveaidsg

AFTER FOUR YEARS OF WAITING, A MOTHER FINALLY HELD HER LITTLE MIRACLE IN HER ARMS. BUT WAR HAD ALREADY MADE HER FIRST JOY A PAINFUL REMINDER OF GAZA’S SUFFERING.

In Gaza, where war and hunger have stolen so much from families, Fayeqa Al-Aridi, 33, from Al-Bureij refugee camp, finally experienced the joy she had waited four years for. She gave birth to her daughter, Nour Abdeljawad.

Four years of hoping. Four years of praying. Four years of imagining the moment she would finally hold her baby, kiss her little face, and whisper, “You are my world.”

And then Nour arrived.

A new life. A mother’s long-awaited happiness. A tiny daughter who had already become the centre of her world.

But Nour was born without hands.

Imagine the emotions in that room: the joy of finally becoming a mother after years of waiting, the love of holding your newborn close, and the uncertainty of knowing that your little girl will face challenges no child should have to face—especially in a place struggling with war, hunger, and limited access to medical care.

Yet Nour is not a tragedy. She is a precious child who deserves every opportunity to grow, learn, laugh, and live with dignity.

Her mother deserves support, not another burden to carry alone. Nour deserves proper medical assessment, specialised care, and a future in which her needs are met.

And this is the heartbreaking reality for so many families in Gaza. Even the arrival of a newborn, an occasion that should be filled with celebration, happens against the backdrop of suffering and uncertainty.

Behind every photograph is a family with hopes, fears, and dreams. Behind every child is a future worth protecting.

Little Nour, you deserved to enter a world of peace, where your first days could be filled with comfort instead of uncertainty. You deserve a childhood where your mother can dream about your future without having to worry about the basic care you will receive.

May Nour grow up surrounded by love, may her mother find the support they both deserve, and may every child in Gaza be given the chance to live, heal, and thrive.

Thankful that there is no buildup of a cataract in today's eye checkup at Woodland Hospital as my right eye seems blocked at times.

But she mentions it's very dry and need to dip a few eye-drops regularly to ensure that is clean.

The cataract if any she says is very preliminary and mild.

I was anticipating a cataract ops soon due to this health issue so this is certainly very good news indeed considering what we have being going through lately.

A cataract ops also needs to be scheduled at least three months ahead as it affects almost everyone once they reach old age.

Thanks to everyone who have being praying for me...

Health is wealth so please take care of yourself especially during this haze season. by @loveaidsg

Dear Singaporeans

Please reshare or leave a comment to tweak Instagram's algorithm shift for pro-Palestinian content.

Our polyclinic remains open for the past three weeks as we await the registration approval process as the saga remains unresolved since six months ago.

MFA, MCCY and MHA have all came out to issue a joint statement three weeks stating that we don't need the government's endorsement though the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah says we do.

Anyway, we have put up our application for registration as a NGO in Palestine and hopefully there will be good news soon else the consequences will be disastrous.

We may need to close down all our humanitarian initiatives in Gaza which in that case will be the worst case scenario.

NGOs have routinely being shut down in Palestine and one such big name is Doctors Without Borders which have left Gaza and West Bank recently.

When it comes to our turn, we will need to be ready and prepared for any eventuality as geopolitics often takes precedence over humanity.

However, I am quietly optimistic that we will get our registration papers soon and continue to serve the suffering Palestinians.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow at our humanitarian talk at Kinex Mall Istana Ballroom 3 at 1pm.

There is much to discuss and if you have a burning question, please ask them during our Q & A segment.
