Bert has arrived in Brisbane! 💛🫧 We’re so excited that Bert’s Adventure in Bubbly Forest has ventured north and can now be found at @lovebookscommunity located inside @vendmarketplace in Brisbane! What’s more, Bert is joining a fabulous collection of indie authors’ picture books on the shelves, ready for new little readers to discover. 🌈 A big thank you to Michelle and the team at Love Books Community for welcoming Bert! Love Books Community has also released its latest Christmas book catalogue, filled to the brim with wonderful gift ideas and stories to enjoy with your little adventurers! Grab the catalogue through the link in our bio. Happy reading, Brisbane! 📚💛 #BertsAdventureStories #BertsAdventureInBubblyForest #LoveBooksCommunity #Brisbanebooks #supportindieauthors by @lovebookscommunity

I don't know about you but when I am put on the spot to record a little message I never know what's going to come out of my mouth! I only had one take so I'm glad what I said made sense! When you get a chance I highly recommend having a think about how to talk about your book, your journey, why you do what you do etc. You can.. Write it down Practice talking about these things in front of a mirror! Have fun videoing yourself with no intentions of showing anyone! Just have fun playing around with how you speak move and even dress. Get comfortable with how you look and how you sound. Be you! No-one else will do it better then you 😍 I'm preaching to myself too you know! FYI I cringe when I see videos of myself 😂 by @lovebookscommunity
Because of all of these amazing independently published authors, the Love Books Community can keep operating out of @vendmarketplace for another 4 months! Our bumper Christmas edition showcases not only our current book titles but the authors behind the books! Real people! by @lovebookscommunity
Come for a little stroll with me through the @lovebookscommunity shop @vendmarketplace Virginia. Notice new book titles and merchandise plus old favourites. by @lovebookscommunity
🚨PRODUCT LAUNCH & VEND RESTOCK🚨 We love popping in to @lovebookscommunity at @vendmarketplace and restocking our books and kids items! New to VEND is our kid’s bucket hats and also our brand new launch - Junior Army Kids Tees! Both the hats and the Army tee are yet to hit our website so pop in to VEND or comment below if you’d like me to message when they’re live online 💚 We were nearly sold out of What Little Heroes Do by Amy Gomes and Sarah Duncanson @paeds_education - so heartwarming to see the wonderful support for our book! ❤️ I was also stoked to get my hands on a copy of the gorgeous book My First Dawn Service written by @peta.wilson.author and illustrated by @carolinekeysillustration - a beautiful, multi-award winning book that I have been waiting to nab from VEND for a while now. There are so many wonderful self-published authors in the @lovebookscommunity - when you support Indi authors you are directly supporting something that someone has poured their heart and soul into. As we enter the festive seasons, pop into @vendmarketplace and check out the gorgeous variety of stalls and support Indi authors and small businesses ❤️ by @lovebookscommunity
Today was a big day! We made some changes in the bookshop to accommodate some gorgeous new titles for the November - February lease. A big thank you to my husband for helping me. There was a moment or two that needed a little rainbow breathing when some things didn't go to plan 😅 but happy to say we soldiered on! There is a half finished tree and styling to be finished however all of our books are displayed and available to purchase. Looking forward to sharing some more pics with everyone! by @lovebookscommunity
New catalogue out now! If you are local to @vendmarketplace Virginia pop in and grab a free copy. We wouldn't even mind if you took a second and left it in your lunch room or community hangout! @lovebookscommunity by @lovebookscommunity

Gee I enjoyed my Sunday afternoon at @lovebookscommunity . Vend staff member Christine always gives me a lovely welcome as I walk into @vendmarketplace.
