I deserved a night out ✨ by @lovegoodjuju

Dear July,

You don’t owe me anything.

I got to spend quality time and celebrate with people I care about, and also met a lot of new people which was a great experience.

I also got to see an amazing fire work show for the fourth of July.

I got to spend quality time with myself and learn a lot of lessons I should have learned long ago.

Last but not least, I got to celebrate Cabo Verde with others who learned about my family’s roots. (Shout out to the World Cup because I don’t have to explain where I’m from anymore)

July owes me nothing

Love,

Some people cheer for you when you’re already winning. @pynrs_ believed in me from the very beginning.

They’ve supported me since I first started running, and watching this journey come full circle means more than I can put into words. Grateful for the people and brands that invest in you before everyone else sees the vision. 🖤

Healing is such a hard process, can be messy but necessary. I’ve been told I need to be around people all the time and do more around people and sometimes the healed version of me just really likes some calm me time. Not everyone’s healing process is the same but protecting the new version of you is always needed.
