Nothing could prepare me for what God had in store for our ‘ohana this year. Supporting Keli‘i as he fights this rare form of brain cancer and also my other boys, Manoa and Kahiau, as we accept this challenging new reality for our family has been the hardest experience of my life.  With extensive medical costs, travel expenses, and ongoing treatments, any donations would help lighten the heavy burden on our ʻohana. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us focus more on what matters most - Keli‘i. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. 🤍 If you’d like to support, my Venmo and Cash App information is below. If you cannot at this time, please keep Keli‘i in your prayers and share this post. Mahalo nui loa for the support. Story time! When Keli’i passed away, he instantly looked at peace. The swelling in his face almost instantly went away and he looked like the handsome boy I’ve loved my whole life. When he passed away there was a smirk on his face, he looked happy and had instant relief. The next day when I went to the crematory to view his body before they put him in he looked even happier! How was that even possible? He was smiling! I held him and gave him all the honi’s for the last time. 2 days ago I made this ring adding some of Keli’is ashes (the dark spots) I had to wait 48 hours for the mixture to harden to put in the setting. There really isn’t anything to it you mix the mixture and at the end you add the ashes in being sure not to stir it in the mold. When I took the gem out of the mold there was a HAPPY FACE🥹 signs? Now I get to take him with me everywhere I go, just in a different way. I love you so much my sweet son. Thank you so much for reminding me to smile, that you’re happy and you’ll always be with me 😭🫶🏽🪽 #iloveyousomuch #forever14 #foryou #explorepage✨ #travelbuddy #childhoodcancer by @lovellkianaa
Please say a prayer for Keli’i, he made a big boy decision today and me and Allen are choosing to respect his wishes. He also has a Brain and spine MRI that we’re praying is as clean as can be. Also, pray for Allen and myself, no parent should have to go through this and we are not okay. We love you so much, Kell’i. No matter how tough the decision is, we will always honor and respect you🥹🤍🙏🏽 #Kokua4Kelii #iloveyouwithmywholeheart #explorepage✨ #foryou by @lovellkianaa

A place to empty your mind, wash it down the river and feel nothing but relief and gratitude. The mana you feel and take with you when you leave is something you have to experience for yourself. I literally hopped on a plane to go swim in the river everyday. 10/10 recommend. #Livingforyou #healing #Maui #foryou #explorepage✨ by @lovellkianaa

365 Days. One whole year. Without you. Without your touch. Without your voice. Without any new memories of you. A year ago today I kissed you for the last time. Felt your skin for the last time and said my final Goodbye. I watched you get carried out of your room and driven down the road you grew up playing on, one last time. The day you died I thought there was no way I could survive this type of pain. I wished I could have went with you and took care of you in heaven too. You were my literal best friend and everything i could ever ask for in a son. The tightest bond and strongest love i’ve ever felt in my life. You had the most positive outlook on life and was the kindest human being. Everyone around you loved you and babies were always drawn to you. This past year my biggest struggle has been letting go of happened to you, what this sickness took from you, from me, from us! Hearing you say mom i just want to live, i don’t want to die really sits heavy on my chest. There is nothing in this world i would want more than to have you here. I prayed to god so many times to take me so you could live. I still struggle everyday with loosing you. I still cry but still try. You will always be the greatest loss of my life. I will talk about you forever because you are so tightly woven into my life. The world keeps moving but mine stops all the time just to remember you. Losing you was like loosing an extension of myself. I think I’ll carry this sadness for the rest of my life. And I’m okay with that. Because the sadness means there is still a place in me that belongs entirely to you. I would rather miss you every day than ever know a version of myself that could stop. Some loves are worth carrying the ache for. You are mine. I love you I love you I love you Keli’i Lovell, FOREVER 💛 #forever14 #Kokua4kelii #pullingmystrengthfromyou #explorepage #foryou by @lovellkianaa
Today is the first day of September and Childhood Cancer awareness Month! I will be walking a mile or more everyday for 30 days to help raise money for Make a wish to grant more wishes for children battling Childhood Cancer. As you all may know, Childhood Cancer is heavy on my heart, as i watched my own son fight to live. Make a wish granted his very last big wish to go to Japan before he passed away. It was a dream trip that could have only happened through make a wish at that time in our lives. Throughout Keli’is fight with Brain Cancer he still took it upon himself to donated to other Children going through Cancer, even if he didn’t know them. We both always made sure we were giving back. Remembering where we started and the amount of love and support getting poured into us daily. Even though Keli’i is gone, I still donate to local families i come across battling the same battle he once did. If Keli’is story has touched you i challenge you to join me on this walk or donate. I will leave my Venmo & Cash app open to whomever has it on there heart to give and also share my 30 mile Challenge where you can donate directly. I will be sending all donations on the Make a wish 30 mile Challenge daily. No donation is too small. $1-$500 every bit counts! If there’s one thing i can tell you about Childhood Cancer it would be that these children want to LIVE & FIGHT TO LIVE. Please help me raise money so another child just like Keli’i can forget about the appointments, the pokes and the chemo and LIVE a-little through there Cancer journey. Every Child fighting Cancer deserves to live and make a wish💛 THIS ONES FOR YOU SON💛🥹🫶🏽 I love you i love you i love you Please Share and Repost. #foryou #childhoodcancerawareness❤️ #explore #Forever14 #Kokua4Kelii by @lovellkianaa

Another month. Month ELEVEN. WITHOUT YOU On this day last year you were alive. Breathing & fighting to be here. I could touch you, hold you and spend every minute of my existence right next to you. The only place in the world i wanted to be. There is so much i want to tell you. So much you’ve missed out on. I could REALLY use one of your hugs right now. I never stop missing you. It never gets easier. I still cry every 24th, when i drive alone & everytime i make a post about you. I love you, i love you, i love you my baby 😭🤍 #Forever14 #childhoodcancer #Kokua4Kelii #foryou #myangel by @lovellkianaa
Kahiau, you bring so much joy into our lives. You are so real, honest, funny and charge large always. It’s so bitter sweet to know in just another short 9 years you will be 18. I love how big your heart is, how quick your mouth is and how much you love your brothers. I love you so much. Happy birthday my handsome son🤿🐟 by @lovellkianaa
