Hey guys! Welcome, my name is Zoey and I’m the owner & creator of Love On Film Baja 🎞️🌞

My love for film goes deep… the nostalgia, the grain, the specific colors it captures, all of it makes my soul happy. I love an imperfect photo that captures the real moment. Don’t get me wrong, I love a prompted or posed photo too. But film brings the magic ✨ It all started with a film camera my grandpa gave me in high school and a film lab in Poland that sparked my love again as an adult.

When I started Love On Film Baja it was meant to be 100% film only because that’s my passion, but for peace of mind, I added in digital to all of my packages. I shoot the entire wedding or event on film and my second shoots digital to make sure you have that assurance that we’ll get every shot! 🫶🏼

Jess & Ryan 💛

These two were such a blast to photograph! Jess was giddy all day and wasn’t shy about swearing. A girl after my own heart 🥂If I remember right, she even mentioned in her vows how fucking excited she was to marry Ryan.

And Ryan is such a sweetheart! Just look at the way he looks at her. Getting to photograph two people this excited about each other is why I love my job🫶🏼

A welcome party, a wedding day, and plenty to celebrate 🥂💃🏼

Caley & Alex’s weekend started with a beachside welcome party full of laughter & a bit of partying! Then wedding day was colorful, full of love and of course more dancing under the lights ✨

I love getting to know everyone a little before the big day and photographing the different energy of each celebration.

Making a whole weekend of it? I can customize your photography package around your plans, whether that’s the welcome party and wedding day or the post-wedding brunch too!

October 17, 2026🤍

a perfectly “us” day!!!!!! by @loveonfilmbaja

You’ve seen the photos… here’s a little of the magic behind them 🧚🏼‍♂️🎞️

I shoot the entire day on film, while my second shooter handles digital. Once the celebrating is over, I mail the rolls to my trusted lab to be developed and scanned.

Then it’s back to me! I edit the scans as needed and put together your sneak peek so you can see a little of what we captured 💕

From there, I keep working through both the film and digital photos, bringing everything together into one cohesive, fabulous gallery. Different cameras & different mediums, but it all blends together seamlessly!

You don’t need the whole wedding figured out to ask about photography 🎞️

Maybe you’ve found your venue. Maybe you’re still celebrating your engagement and tossing around ideas for the day. You don’t need to have it all sorted before reaching out.

You don’t have to know how to pose or be “photogenic” to take incredible photos 🪩

Maybe you love being photographed. Maybe you have a favorite side, or you’d honestly rather avoid the camera altogether. Either way, you’re not expected to arrive knowing what to do. That’s what I’m here for.

I learned a really helpful way to explain posing by breaking it into three types: candid, prompted, and posed.

Candid: You’re doing your thing, and I’m documenting it. No direction from me.

Prompted: I give you something to actually do. Walk together, cheers your drinks, carry your partner’s train on the way to cocktail hour. Then I capture what happens while you’re doing the prompt. A lot of photos that look candid are actually shot this way.

Posed: This is where I get more particular about where you stand, the light, and little adjustments to your hands or posture. You don’t have to figure it out yourself.

A wedding day is a perfect mix of all three. It really captures the essence of the day while still making sure you don’t end up with too many of one style. It makes your gallery dimensional & layered, just like your day. 🎞️💃🏼

A Flora Farms wedding on 35mm film 🎞️

There’s so much to work with in one place. A ceremony surrounded by greenery, portraits among the sunflowers, and that light coming through the palms as the reception gets started.

It’s beautiful, obviously. But I also appreciate how thoughtfully it’s set up for weddings. There’s room for the celebration and so many little corners I want to photograph.

Save this if you’re looking for a garden setting for your wedding. 🎞️
