Your putter grip is the only direct point of connection between your hands and the putter, and its role in stroke delivery is remarkably important and intricate. Grabbing a grip off the rack based on visual gimmicks ignores how your hands, wrists, and body interact through impact.

Here are 5 essential factors you need to realize when selecting a putter grip—and why Garsen’s patented ergonomic designs check off all the boxes.

#feelthedifference #garsenworkshop

Wrist Stability & Biomechanical Lock

The Physics: Putter face angle at impact accounts for over 85%-90% of a putt’s initial direction. A micro-breakdown in your lead or trail wrist of just 1 degree off-center will cause a 10-foot putt to miss the hole entirely. When your wrists flex, extend, or flip, you lose face control and ruin dynamic loft consistency.

Why Garsen Checks the Box: Traditional flat-top grips allow thumbs to rest in a way that turns elbows outward, inviting wrist breakdown. Garsen designs—such as the MAX, ULTIMATE, EDGE, and QUAD Tour lines—feature patented angled geometry. The QUAD Tour line, for example, features a unique trapezoid design that fits perfectly into the hands compared to traditional grips.

Individual Delivery & Hand Placement

The Physics: No two golfers deliver the putter head in the exact same manner. Your setup, posture, arm hang, and grip style (claw, cross-handed, or traditional) dictate how your hands need to interface with the handle. Fitting a grip requires matching its shape to your natural delivery rather than forcing your hands into an unnatural posture that creates tension.

Why Garsen Checks the Box: Garsen doesn’t build single-concept, one-size-fits-all grips like most manufacturers. The lineup is engineered specifically around natural hand placement.

Dynamic Loft, Distance Control & Start Lines

The Physics: Active wrists during the stroke ruin speed control and mess up your start lines. Consistent speed and true launch require flat, repeatable dynamic loft that sends the ball into an immediate, smooth forward roll.

Why Garsen Checks the Box: By keeping your wrists neutral and passive through impact, Garsen grips allow the engineering, milling, by @lowerscoresgolf
