Homeowners by @lsloman

It’s the end of an era.

I joined @womenssportschi as a player in 2013, when we had a handful of teams and played in a weird caged field at a local park. Two years later I became a volunteer, then an ambassador working with captains, and eventually the league coordinator. I’ve watched WSC become *the* destination for women’s soccer in Chicago, currently reaching almost 30 teams and hundreds of players.

I am so grateful for this community and the opportunity to grow the women’s game. I will miss it horribly. by @lsloman
