Recent poetry and musings 🕊️

This year I returned to her. To the land. To the sea. Sun and moon. I remembered what it feels like to merge my bones into the roots of the earth and surrender to her. She has reminded me not only who I am again, but filled my heart with so much love, it is overflowing. Her love is endless. Every poem is for her. I have always believed that nature is the deepest lover we will ever encounter. The most sensual, passionate and real relationship there is. When I devote myself to nature as my first love, then I can regulate, remember and return to her again and again and again. 🌹🪽 by @luca.hadassah

Thank you for this practice. The places you’ve taken me. Always in moments of isolation, you opened my way home. As I breathe and move my body, tears fill my eyes for those who paved this way. The path back to the middle, the space of no thing. Just me and my mat; through jungles and mountains, beaches and forests, studios and temples, tiny small box rooms and large open terraces, places in the dark and places in the sun - no matter the environment, there is always a place to lay down and pray. As I continue year after year; same mat, same prayer, same movement… something so simple continues to go so deep. Penetrating the softness of the heart again and again.

When there is no space for practice whatever it’s form - the practice is teaching us that something in our life is taking up too much space (relationship, job, emotions etc) Free the space, Free the practice, Free the Self. Make space and the practice will follow.

For the ones who teach, who practice, who serve, for the ones who continued to bring these traditions to the generations to come… Thank you. May we continue our Yoga in prayer for peace for humanity, peace for planet Earth on this Christ Day. Ram Ram. by @luca.hadassah

A land where the senses are invited to experience the kind of love that we hear about in poetry. Another trip to my favourite place on earth begins. 🕊️

When they ask us why we love Greece.

I laid tobacco down at her grave and lit the burning lavender and sage. My sister she sang hallelujah and it rang through the chapels acoustics. We collected pine cones from the many ancestral trees. Tears falling, remembering the kindest soul, our grandmother and mother. Through this grief we remember our lineage, our roots. We only become stronger and less separated. Death falls upon us reminding us that life is for loving one another rather than material things. That we come here to earth to learn certain lessons, not to gain something greater than ourselves. To open our arms and let love in,to share more, listen more, to let go of our judgements and fears, because in the end we are only here for a short time. Babcia you are now in the sea, the flowers, the wind, the sun, moon and stars. Thank you for blessing this earth with your beauty and giving us all a deeper understanding of life. Forever in our hearts and soul. ♥️ by @luca.hadassah

2022 into 2023 photo dump. New home, visiting special friends, Polish family time, lots of grass and a moment in the snow, sunny mornings by the sea, music jams and lots of fires. A lot of change yet a lot of stillness and simplicity. 🐞 by @luca.hadassah

No matter how often we speak or don’t speak, if I’m there or not there, I am always loving you and my best intentions are always at heart. Yes I will fuck up multiple times. No I won’t be perfect and be able to appear how you want me to be a lot of the time. Yes I will be there for you when I can, when you call me at 2am and you need me. Yes I will hold you if you enter my door crying. There’s always space for you. And sometimes I also need space, and I can’t hold you. And that’s okay. There are so many expectations that we don’t hold of each other. Because I am me and you are you, and in fact we are the same. Just a human being, doing their best, making every day count. Some days I will show up better than other days. Some days I will know the answers and others I won’t. We might not spend much time together and then spontaneously you’ll come stay at my house for a week and we’ll sit by the fire and it will be like no time has passed laughing every minute and making special memories. I might book a flight and show up randomly but actually it’s just perfectly aligned, that was the moment life made space for us. Life is chaotic, and strange and doesn’t make sense - so just always remember we are in it together, and all you need to be is exactly as you are. The thing we all trying to do is make space, make sense of it all. But the thing is, time moves anyway and it will never actually make any sense. It’s meant to be perfectly imperfect, and that’s the best way it will always be. Let’s allow one another to know we are always doing the best we can, growing and evolving as each moment passes.
