To retreat: may you get the possibility to step out for a moment, to harvest, to contemplate, to integrate, to make space. May you listen within for what is asking to be heard. May you honor and feel into what is coming to an end. May you soften, release and be nourished by stillness. After that, may you return, carrying the seeds of hope for what is yet to unfold. The art of presence - 2026 @femminamorta_ thank you and see you next year. @giuliaannamaria and @lilacollectiveplayground thank you. @zolinphoto thanks for the beautiful pictures, the last one is really an amazing shot 🤩 by @lucasbodywork

“My own healing journey with dysmorphia, shame, and discomfort showed me the beauty of unapologetically accepting my body and emotions as they are. Maybe a mission is to invite people to be fully themselves on the massage table; welcoming whatever movement, sound, or emotion needs space. And if we also get joy, openness, and curiosity towards life as a side effect, I could call that my mission.” We had the pleasure of getting to know @lucasbodywork this summer at @garbicz_festival , where we worked alongside him in the wellness area—and because we enjoyed our time with him so much, we were excited to share his story with our readers in this week’s Soul Sessions. Those who know him will tell you that his openness, generous heart, and playfulness make him such a joy to be around, and his dedication to touch and bodywork is reflected in each of his sessions. You can read the full interview (including our favorite answer— his most controversial opinion) and connect with Lucas to book a 1:1 session via the link in the bio 💆 📷: @sabrinajeblaoui by @lucasbodywork
Getting the space ready is like getting my soul together. Fluffing towels, lighting incense, clearing corners, preparing for something special. Maybe an upcoming dance with someone's tensions and fascias... It’s not just cleaning but also it’s opening my heart, so it can hold yours. Making the room smell like trust, safety, and maybe Palo Santo. Tuning the energy of the space so your nervous system can deeply exhale. ✨ Massage isn’t just hands-on, it starts before you arrive. by @lucasbodywork

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend a fascinating training on archaic reflexes, sensory development, and primal movements! 🧠✨ For most of us, our perception of the world relies on our five senses: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory, and gustatory as well as deeper internal senses like proprioception and the vestibular system. These sensory foundations, along with our primary reflexes, guide every movement we make. Reflexes are automatic, involuntary responses. They determine how we move, balance, and process emotions. When they aren’t fully integrated, they can lead to tension or discomfort. For example, I found that my "Moro reflex" (survival response to sudden stimulation) remains slightly active, which may connect to overstimulation of the nervous system and contribute to neck tension. Recognizing this is the first step toward integration. Then come some specific exercises! #ResponsAbility This training gave me a new perspective on movement and bodywork. I’m curious to keep studying, exploring these insights and eventually practicing this with those of you who are interested! #BodyWisdom #ReflexIntegration #MovementHealing #HolisticBodywork #BerlinMassage by @lucasbodywork
Practicing in nature is a wonderful experience and an absolute gift. 🌿✨ The trees are real however the skeletons are just plastic, only here for anatomy study! 😅 Did you know, When we hear birds singing, our brain naturally relaxes because it signals a safe and peaceful environment. 🐦 💆‍♂️ #NatureHeals #MassageTraining #DeepLearning #HolisticWellness #Bodywork #BerlinMassage by @lucasbodywork
Back in Berlin, refreshed and inspired after new learnings and beautiful training! ✨ Diving into touch, surrounded by nature, I’ve been refining my craft to bring more depth, precision, and presence into each session. 👐 Soothing strokes: Gentle, flowing, gravity-led movements to awaken fascia 💆‍♂️ Open fists & forearm: Releasing deeper layers of tension 🌀 Precise elbows: Myofascial work creating space and release Grateful for this training with Chetan. Ready to bring this powerful work into my sessions! Looking forward to seeing you soon in Berlin and supporting Berliner to feel the spring sparking from within 💫 #BerlinBodywork #MassageTherapy #DeepTissueMassage #Bodywork #BerlinMassage #relaxberlin #MassageBerlin #MindfulTouch #HolisticHealing by @lucasbodywork
India, you have been a big gift 🎁🇮🇳✨ One week back, still my heart dances with the music, flavors, and colors of this journey. India welcomed me and treated me very well. I’m deeply grateful for the people I traveled with, those I met along the way, and even the random conversations in the streets, in transport, or at events. I feel nourished, joyful, and dancing as well as calmer and contemplative. This trip confirmed my openness and my ability to embrace life’s unpredictability. I explored slowing down, allowed myself to rest and recharge. I trust now more the intelligence of my body, it feels easier to challenge my mind, and I fully enjoy melting into my own energy. Ouah, that’s Bambam! Coming back feels the most challenging part of that journey. My intention is to keep cultivating meditation, sacred rest, journaling, and conscious movement to surrender to the present of life. 🎁 The journey continues within. ✨ #IndiaJourney #Gratitude #SacredRest #ConsciousLiving #TrustTheProcess #InnerEngenering by @lucasbodywork
One Month in India 🇮🇳 Traveling Inward & Outward After 4 weeks on the road, India feels less like a place I’m visiting and more like a space I’m surrendering into. Allowing moments of nothingness, embracing the unexpected situations as opportunities, and dancing into joy. The Inner Engineering program with Sadhguru in Kochi offered new perspectives on life... Crossing through the tea plantations of Munnar, I made my way through his Isha Ashram near Coimbatore. A unique place, intensely quiet, made of awareness and devotion. Perfect for deepening mindfulness in what feels like a world beyond time and space. Some of my realisation: - To be response-able for my own experiences means embracing the present moment, not resisting it. - If I believe things will unfold effortlessly, they will. - The body always deserves more attention, and shifting the narrative starts in the mind. - Mindfulness as practice becomes awareness as a state that flows into the body and into life. Feeling abundant, grateful, as well as the ache in my legs from new practices. Surrendering, not resisting. Allowing pain without turning it into suffering. ✨ #InnerEngineering #Sadhguru #IndiaJourney #IshaYoga #PresentMoment by @lucasbodywork
I'm in India for 6 weeks! ✨ Many asked me what's the plan or what are you planning or want to do? Well rather than doing, it's for me first about exploring my being for a moment. Confronting myself, trying solo traveling for a long period of time. Indeed alone I can fully dive into alterity, into a culture very different from what I'm used to and observe how it makes me feel. I truly believe in discovering other perspectives, realities and stories related to life on earth can inspire, nourish and touch me. Yes, it's also about being in touch, being touched and feeling touch by life and humanity. I perceive already after 3 days, it can be raw and overwhelming but it also feels soooo real and vibrant. Lots of love Lucas by @lucasbodywork
