Dear Education,

I never thought I would one day sit down and write a goodbye letter to you.

For 7 years, you were more than just a career to me. You became part of my identity. Part of my purpose. & You quietly shaped me into the man I am today.

Education, you gave me Room 203.

Four walls that somehow became so much bigger than just a classroom.

And at 25 years old, I walked into that empty room having no idea how drastically it was going to change my life forever.

Inside that room were stories. Growth. Failures. Creativity. Laughs. Cries. & Life lessons. There were moments where students tested my patience, and moments where they completely restored my faith in people. Some days were exhausting. Some days were unforgettable. But every single day mattered.

Education, you taught me that teaching was never really about cameras, graphic design, photography, or media production. It was about connection and building relationships. It was about seeing a student slowly believe in themselves for the first time. It was about watching shy kids find confidence behind a camera, creative kids finally feel understood, and students who struggled everywhere else, walk into Room 203 and feel like they belonged somewhere.

And somewhere along the way, while I thought I was teaching kids how to tell stories… you were sitting back, teaching me how to live one.

Over the years, thousands of students walked through the door labeled 203, but none of them left unchanged in my heart.

A piece of every student will travel with me forever.

So to the kids who never stopped asking questions.
The ones who just needed someone to talk to during their lunch period.
The class clowns who never failed to make me laugh.
& The quiet students who said almost nothing but still somehow left a lasting impact.

You all helped build me.

So Education, even tho my path changes, the impact never will. Room 203 will always exist inside me. Inside my students. In the lessons. In the memories. In the relationships. In the songs we played. & In the lives that intertwined with mine over the last seven years.

I will forever carry this chapter of my life with pride.
