We’re delighted to announce that this fun little poster that TJ created has been chosen by the Aesthetica Film Festival as part of their prestigious poster competition.

They’ll be displaying it in the lobby of the cinemas that screen the movies at the festival. So keep an eye out for Joe’s lovely mug if you’re at the festival. ☺️

What a week had @galwayfilm last week.. we are beyond excited to announce that our short film @lucky_liam_short won The 2026 Tiernan McBride Award for Best Drama Short! The level of talent and quality of Irish shorts across the festival was incredible and being able to just compete against them in itself was an honour! This win now means that we are eligible for qualification for an @theacademy Award Nomination in 2027. A huge thank you to all of our amazing cast & crew for making this happen and to everyone at @galwayfilm for the recognition and support throughout the festival.
