You’re experienced enough to know the cover of a business makes a huge difference to who’s attracted to it… Sometimes you’re just too close to your own self to see what visuals make sense for you & which parts of your life makes sense to actually show But once we look at you, your real vibe and what your client wants, it’s actually so easy 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 You know the exact B roll you should shoot, have a pinterest board that captures your vibe You know how to bring to life in your content I.e. Should your content be light or should it be dark Which two fonts should we rinse and repeat on Instagram that are attractive and cohesive on your page (and stop using 800 different fonts) Then know where to place the font, so your message stays the same but is now actually readable and looks aesthetically pleasing (undeniably important from here on in your journey) There’s no need to point out the difference this makes for your business You’re experienced enough to know the cover of a business makes a huge difference to who’s attracted to it 🧲 The best part is once this is scoped out, you know it forever 🔒 It’s time to challenge the belief that upgrading how things look is something you ‘can’t do’ 👀 And ditch any all or nothing mentality of thinking it either needs to be perfect or you can’t do it at all (absolutely doesn’t need to be perfect) We strive for CLEAN, CLEAR & COHESIVE in my world (not perfect) The smallest tweaks and simplest skills are what set everything you’re doing on fire, in a way that you look back and think, holy f*ck, that looks good ❤️‍🔥 *it’s giving obsessed* We’re entering the szn of leveling up, we all undoubtedly know sept - dec is mega for business So if you want to amplify all the effort & time you’re putting into your content, so you’re visually positioned as the iconic business & brand that you are Letting your visuals do more of the talking & heavy lifting for you Comment a ❤️‍🔥 below, I’ve got 5 spots this month to work closely with the founders ready to elevate their content by @lucythecontentstylist

If you’re a founder who wings it when it comes to B roll 👀 Then looks at others clean, aesthetic or visually pleasing content wondering how they do it WELCOME TO MY WORLD B roll is a huge part of what makes your content visually look good & is a massive opportunity to become more recognisable, stand you out and grab & hold attention So if you’re killing it in your field, but you open up your grid & content and think YUK regularly Let’s fix that shall we… When you’re in my world, I elevate everything about your content visuals through a simple 4 step framework which - unlocks what your aesthetic is - shows you how to bring this aesthetic to life in your content - how to film cleaner & aesthetic B roll & build a folder full of it - & how to make your page, grid covers & overall content formats more attractive so it’s all looking and feeling visually pleasing, letting your personality shine through & bringing that aliveness to your brand Comment ‘AESTHETIC’ & I’ll dm you all the details ✨ by @lucythecontentstylist
Considering most people see you online before they ever meet you… Why are you treating your content like the cheapest part of your business? 👀 Make it make sense 🤨 You obviously know the importance of your content creating a f*cking incredible impression to anyone landing on your page So when you open up your insta & it’s not visually at the standard you want it There’s a niggle… Bc its not quite feeling the level YOU’RE actually at Your personality, expertise & iconic-ness isn’t shining through & that bugs you Not because your content isn’t getting you results, you’re slaying it queen £££ 🤏🏽 But OBVIOUSLY you’d still love bigger opportunities: 🎧 dream podcast invite 🎤 paid speaking opportunity 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 brand collaboration 👑 being in rooms with women you’d f*cking love to be around Your online presence is often the first place those people experience YOU But creating / posting content feels a full time job while running a business (& somehow never feels a priority) 💀 So you outsource your content Makes total sense Except you go for the cheapest option 🧐 But there’s a difference between someone who can make nice posts & someone who knows how to make your brand feel like YOU You’re asking ‘Can you make me some nice posts?’ But what you actually want is: ‘Can you understand my business, my audience, my expertise & creatively turn all of that into content that makes the right people want to work with me?’ They might be bloody brilliant at editing But they are only qualified to make nice content, hense their prices Your content needs more than a nice edit 🚨 (& that’s why you’re never satisfied with the end result of ‘just’ nice content, you spend more time tweaking = causing you more time & hassle) Your content needs the right idea, hook, visuals, story & feel, all working together to position you at the level you’re actually playing at Otherwise, you’re just making ‘nice’ posts & nice posts don’t take your brand anywhere You’ve built a £10K - £20K+ month business So make sure the person representing it & piecing it together for you is qualified to do it justice & that person is yours truly Lucy, the content stylist xo by @lucythecontentstylist
Ofc a woman at your level would have a content stylist, duh🍸 I get there’s zero appeal for you to ‘learn’ visuals It’s not your genius & you’d rather stab your eyeballs out than spend hours in canva But you DO want the result of visually pleasing content 🤏🏽 You being perceived as incredible at what you do, premium & the best person to work with ❤️‍🔥 When your visuals are uniform, consistent & put together, it visually does that heavy lifting for you You’re polished in real life… Great clothes, home, always going to gorg restaurants, beautiful holidays, successful business, great taste, high standards So when you open Instagram and it’s… meh That creates disconnect between you & your brand (& isn’t having it do half the heavy lifting it rightfully should be doing for you) You’re THAT GIRL in real life Your Instagram should feel like her too 👏🏼 And this is exactly where having a content stylist comes in Not someone who’s going to give you 74 brand guidelines, make you learn Canva and turn creating content into another f*cking job… I’m here to make it SIMPLE I take the reins, look at what you’re already doing, and show you how to make it look & feel more like YOU So you know exactly what works for you visually, without the faff, complication or overthinking Messages you can expect from me on the regular ✉️👇🏼 ‘Move the font there’ ‘Follow this grid pattern’ ‘This visuals would look incredible on your page’ ‘Film your B roll here & do this in front of the camera w this prop’ ‘That backdrop doesn’t make sense, this does’ ‘These colours make the most sense for your brand’ ‘Cut this fluffy word out of your hook so it reads better’ ‘That content idea is iconic, here’s how to piece it together visually’ You don’t need MORE to do You just need someone with the eye to make what you’re already doing look good & translate your personality Drop a 🍾 below & let’s chat how we can elevate what you’re *already* doing in your content to ooze more of YOU by @lucythecontentstylist
& just like that, I was unknowingly capturing the most special content I’d ever capture in my life 🥹 Debated all week whether to share this or not (bc the older I get the more I actually value a private-ish life) But F*CK IT, I just love loveeeeeeeee, and it’s me to a T getting content of bloody everything 🤣 The most special, iconic & gorgeous evening ever with the love of my life 😭🤍 &&&& THE video was HIS idea 😭 he just knows me so well Grateful, crying & absolutely on fricking cloud 9 right now 🤍 by @lucythecontentstylist
B roll baddies 🤳🏼❤️‍🔥 Ugh this moment was just so iconic I cannot 🤏🏽 a little bts into this poolside content session (vibes) : These women are f*cking amazing at their work, inspired me endlessly this week, their content is thriving & they were telling me they’re so happy with their messaging & the results they’re getting from their content BUT the B roll & the visuals of their content is something that trips them up They know how to get B roll (duh) But they would love to dial up the aesthetic slightly, have that more uniformed, cleaner look, bring more personality, but unsure which parts to show & how to piece it together in their content in a visually pleasing way (So I was so honoured to be spilling the tea on some of my aesthetic content secrets ❤️‍🔥) & a huge part of this is the B roll We named this move in the video the ‘swooosh’ trick 🤳🏼 I film my content like this ALOT because it’s an super easy way to film B roll on the go lets people get an insight into where you are, you can show a nice backdrop and it brings aliveness to your content = engaging, eye catching & when done intentionally… can be visually pleasing & uniformed w your brand 🤏🏽 These queens bloody killed it & I was so chuffed to see it land so quickly after our pool session eeee 🤳🏼 @mindbalancehypnotherapy @lucyashby_ @max_wellbeing @_sallyspicerincluded @lifewith__nadz__ This stuff is simple but TOTALLY elevates your content 😍🤏🏽 We also chatted all things: - what backdrops make sense for their businesses - how to bring their personality through in a way that makes sense for their brand - how to make the IG grid look more seamless & uniform - simple filming & editing hacks to make everything look more polished So maybe a second tutorial pending? 👀 My mission to help founders make their content LOOK as high end & premium as they truly are has been ignited on another level this week ❤️‍🔥 What trips you up with your content visuals? 👀 comment below & il another mini content stylist tutorial pending 🧚‍♀️ by @lucythecontentstylist
Details matter 🤏🏽✨ B roll is a huge part of what I help founders nail, because it’s the foundations of your content If you know how to film aesthetic looking photos & videos (w/o having to splurge on brand shoots) Knowing how & what to consistently to show so everything starts to ‘go’ together and look cohesive Your content creation looking the vibe is about to get a whole lot EASIER Because A- you have a constant bank visually pleasing B roll to pull from when creating content And B - you know how & what to film, in a way that looks good & makes sense for your page, so you can keep topping up your B roll bank easily so everything naturally starts to look seemless & put together without you even trying So here’s my 5 iconic GO TO’s (& how my 🧠 works before + during B roll batching) 1. Outfits If you’re in the shot, your outfit is a huge part of it, you want to be feeling the vibe - there is no rule book on what to wear, that’s personal to you, but next time you go reaching for a suit or something you feel you ‘should’ wear, instead wear what you feel your best in, colours, cuts, shapes; let people feel into your taste, if you love your outfit you will love YOU in the shot more too (I guide my clients to find their signature content outfits when working together) 2. Backdrops Where you film is key, it doesn’t always need to be same locations either, but keeping similar colours in the backdrops is my no1 rule so my content looks consistent, also thinking about the energy that location is bringing (e.g. countryside = peaceful, designer shops = luxe) try choose a spot that’s eye catching, nice looking and interesting for people to look at 3. Lighting Play with lighting til the shot looks most crisp & high quality, natural lighting is my fave, you can tap your screen to bring more focus / adjust, buy lighting clip ons for your phone, shit lighting makes content look blurry & low quality, period 4. Angles Keeping an eye on what’s in the shot, what angle makes you / your surroundings look the best, using zoom settings to make content look higher quality & cleaner (all things I show you how to do in my world) *continued in comments* by @lucythecontentstylist
Is your content giving MESSY? 👀 Pull up a seat & hear if you hit the criteria for un-aesthetic content Then for the love of goddddddd let’s change this (Disclaimer: I’m not being a b*tch, I just want your content to LOOK as good as YOU & your business actually is ❤️‍🔥) Bc the visuals is such leverage to grab attention Pull people in Make them watch / read / consume your content If they’re landing on a page that lacks aliveness / looks amateur / feels like a start up It could be costing you new eyes bouncing off your page & overlooking you If this landed comment ‘aesthetic’ and il talk you through my framework that changes all of this so your visuals finally match how iconic you are 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 by @lucythecontentstylist
asmr autumning 🍁🧸🍂🧋 Wholesome Sunday & the first one hosting as a fiancé hehe 🤍 The rainy Sunday morning spurred me on to get the house all cosy & then the sun came out, so I guess we were back summering again 🤣 (Obsessed with my new top - perfect comfy Sunday attire 🤍 @amandamckemish @notbasics) by @lucythecontentstylist
My face says it all 👀🫢 Seriously though, it’s like turning up to an event in an unwashed outfit you feel awful in 🫣 Not chic, not the vibe & quite frankly it’s going to massively effect your confidence The way I see it is: In the same way what you wear & the effort you make with yourself represents your standards How your content looks is representing your brand & business standards If it looks messy, people are going to assume your work is messy (aka not high standards like it ACTUALLY is) In the same way if someone looked messy, you’d assume their house was messy RIGHT? 👀 YOU’RE JUDGED ON THE STANDARDS PEOPLE CAN SEE & look I KNOW you try to make your content look good So no shade - I’m on your side 🤍 I just want you to realise there’s a way to make your content look visually better, w/o overcomplicating it Bc I KNOW you’re avoiding this because you assume it will be time consuming and fiddly then convince yourself it doesn’t matter But it DOES matter (just like if someone came to your home you’d want it to look nice & tidy too) ^ it’s no different w your content So if you want to be shown how to VISUALLY spruce up everything about your content & your insane messaging so it lands harder and actually does you justice Here’s how I’d spruce it up with you: 🤳🏼 Film more brand aligned, visually pleasing B roll w/o having to fork out for brand shoots (everything from what to do, wear, angles, where to film directed by moi so it looks the vibe) we make sure it’s relevant and cohesive with your brand 🤍 Make your IG grid (aka your shop window) look more cohesive, uniform, easy to read & overall just more representative of how iconic you are *easily* again nailing the vibe you want it to give off through the visuals ✍🏼 How to make your hooks & fonts visually more readable, stand out, eye catching and attention grabbing so it lands in the best way with your dream clients / audience so fresh eyes landing there instantly KNOW they need what you offer W/o needing to use canva + wanting to throw your phone at the wall btw bc we make it easy round here Comment ‘aesthetic’ and il walk you through how we’ll glow up your content together 🤍 by @lucythecontentstylist
