Somewhere between Mammoth and Yosemite, she said yes. Turns out, the best view wasn’t Half Dome.

I’m thrilled to officially share that I’ll be representing Team USA this October at the UCI Gravel World Championships in the Netherlands! It’s an honor to wear the stars and stripes on the world stage once again, and I couldn’t have reached this point without the incredible support of my team @bissell_abg_cycling all season. If you’d like to help support the trip, I’ve linked my GoFundMe in my bio. Thank you for being a part of my journey across the pond once again!

A very emotional start to Nationals these past 2 days. I had one of my best rides this season on Thursday and was in the mix for top 5 in the Collegiate field. My mentee for this year, @tom___scott was also in the mix with me and I was very proud of his ride. It was an extremely special finish as we both rolled to the line together, brother with brother. The rest of the men and women on the Marian squad had some strong rides despite mechanicals and crashes. Friday was the team relay with me, @tom___scott , @katy.mcdicken , and @lizzygunsalus . All of us left it out on the course and we placed a solid 3rd place. Very proud of the team and all we managed to accomplish this season. We had some adversity to overcome but we took control as a group and had one of the best Cyclocross showings we’ve had in years. Thankful for @johnthoop and @lizzygunsalus for their guidance and encouragement throughout the season. You both are awesome and doing great things for the community. The @mariancycling program is one I’m so proud to be a part of. Everyone on the team is my brother and sister and their success is our success. Now it’s time to rest and prepare for the mudfest that is U23 nationals on Sunday!

Miss you Fred, glad we got to check @mammoth_tuff off your bucket list in spirit 🧡

P.S I understand why you rode with the old man flex stem now… my arms are sore.

It’s been one busy summer, seven weekends out of town and a whole lot of miles in between.

Red River Gorge, KY ➡️ Pittsburgh, PA ➡️ Nashville, TN ➡️ @dustbowl100 ➡️ Pittsburgh, PA ➡️ Santa Claus, IN ➡️ Nashville, IN ➡️ Madison, WI.

Got to see some incredible places, experience some amazing things, and most importantly, spend time with some great people along the way. As much as I’ve loved being on the road, I’m definitely ready to sleep in my own bed for a bit. More adventures to come this year!

Stoked to see where the legs were at @dustbowl100. After starting work, dialing in training has taken a little more intention, so it’s rewarding to see it paying off.

Took a shot with an early move around mile 19 and somehow managed to stay off the front with @kingroenen for the next 45 miles. Couldn’t have asked for a better day of racing.

Now it’s time to keep the momentum going and to build towards @mammoth_tuff in a few weeks. 👊

You can knock me down, but you can’t keep me there.

Another @ridecowpie in the books. Fired up to take home two KOMs and successfully defend the “Shake, Rattle and Roll” KOM for the second consecutive year. Great weekend with the Bissell family and some quality time in Michigan. On to the next adventure. 🚴‍♂️

Got to finally celebrate a graduation this weekend with @marianuniversity 🎓

Even though I finished back in December and stepped straight into full-time work as a C&Q engineer, it was good to take a moment and celebrate alongside my friends.

Countless miles with the @mariancycling team while balancing a full course load: averaging 17 credit hours across 5.5 semesters, summer classes… and somehow adding in two years as a freshman RA along the way. A very packed schedule and a serious grind, but worth every bit of it.

Graduated cum laude with degrees in Mechanical Engineering through Purdue and Graphic Design through Marian, with minors in Mathematics and Physics.

Couldn’t have done it without the support of friends, family, teammates, and everyone who stuck with me through the highs and lows. It was harder than any race I’ve ever done but stoked to make it to the finish. #goknights by @luke_stierwalker

Things I survived this weekend:

- Wasps
- Power outage
- Crashing on grated bridge
- Hypothermia
- Potential gasoline explosion
- Gasoline induced hives
- The age 23

Thank you all for the birthday wishes hoping to finish Coal Country Roubaix next year! Maybe I can go a year with the rubber side down. See y’all at the next one!

Came into @barryroubaix1 with two simple goals:

• Finish in one piece ✅
• Stay warm ✅
• Debut the new kit ✅

Mission accomplished, and walked away with my best Barry result yet. Even with a few mechanical hiccups along the way.

Always a good time linking up with the @bissell_abg_cycling crew, and huge shoutout to @judah.gus for grabbing 3rd in the men’s race 👏

Making some final preparations this week for Coal Country Roubaix. It’s going to be killer. One mile at a time, one pedal stroke at a time.

Fun to get back into some racing after a 4 month long break. Even more fun was ripping some crit laps with my old man. Life got busy closing out one chapter of life and starting another and it feels good to be back to some consistency with training. Praying for some good legs for @barryroubaix1 and Coal Country Roubaix the next few weekends!
