260412 CHEN CONCERT TOUR <Arcadia> in Singapore
Make It Count

‘Make It Count’ will never be the same after today. Thank you so much for singing this song for us at Arcadia final concert. This song has always been one of most played song on Spotify, one of my favourite songs (well… actually, honestly, I love all of Jongdae’s songs haha).
I waited such a long time to see you again, so today felt even more special—and I know I’ll remember it forever.
Let’s sing together for a long, long time 💛

So make it count

1분 1초를 make it count

230902 CHEN Polaris Japan Tour 2023, Yokohama
A dream came.
I finally have a recording of me singing ”너를 사랑해~“ in sync with Jongdae in a real LIVE concert ㅠㅠ

I know it’s only a short line and sometimes words like “사랑해“ seems so cliché but I hope that Jongdae could always hear these little words from each and everyone who loves him dearly, and know that we are on his side, always and forever.

Many fans travelled to Japan, braving the intense summer heat and possible typhoon, to see him because we trust that it will be a journey worth taking; we trust our king to pamper us with the best live music with his awesome band. And this man with a genuine heart didn’t let us down at all.

Polaris is truly a gift to us from Jongdae. It is one no-skip album that allows him to show us different colours of his voice, and the concert continues as an amazing showcase of Jongdae’s strengths in reality.

Since debut, Jongdae’s vocal on records is known for being incredible, but wait till you hear him live. His live vocal is simply transcendental. Seriously so beautiful and flawless be it when he sang ballads or rock numbers that take a lot of energy. Not once he was out of tune or out of breath. Every line is clear and fluid like water.

In Osaka (and the rest of the stops), after hyping the audience with a handful of rock numbers straight in a row, and jamming to “Break Out” and “Free World” twice, he gave a short ment, and went on to sing his latest title track “Light of my Life”, his latest work, a mindblowing masterpiece where he sings in female key and hits the lowest of the lows and highest of the highs in one breath, only a heavyweight like him can deliver right away and he blew the roof of the theatre! He was effortlessly perfect. It’s so unreal! But that’s our Jongdae. He is a phenomenal. I think I’ve met the reincarnation of Apollo.

+ continue…

Polaris is FOREVER
