Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10 💕🙏🏽🤗🥹

Just some of my story…I’m so thankful now, but it has been a hard journey, but the story will have a happy ending, it is all in God’s plan. God is good despite it all. 💗✝️🙏🏽

Stay encouraged and don’t ever give up, stay close to God, He will be there always even in the hard times. ❤️

Every table I prepare.
Every detail I design.
Every vision I bring to life.
It starts with Jesus.

Thou preparest a table before me…
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
— Psalm 23:5 🙏🏾🥹💕

Lushnics is built on faith, favor, and excellence.
Grateful for the anointing on my hands and my assignment. 💐🙏🏽 Grateful for God’s covering in every season.

If you haven’t given your life to Jesus, this is your sign! 🙏🏾

Salvation Prayer

Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died for my sins
and rose again.

I confess that I need You.
Forgive me. Cleanse me.
Make me new.

I surrender my life to You.
Be my Lord and my Savior.

I receive Your grace,
Your righteousness,
and Your new beginning.

Thank You that in You,
I am a new creation.
Old things have passed away.
All things are made new.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Look at what the Lord has done!!! 🙏🏾🥹😭

Back in April, I received a surprise email from a beautiful, Senior editor at Essence Magazine wanting to feature me and Lushnics in an article. I was extremely shocked, because wow, it was beyond my wildest dreams to be featured in magazine like Essence! But, God had other plans for me. 😭🥹 She had come across Lushnics and was moved by my story of losing my mom and 25 year career then moving into my journey with Jesus and transitioning Lushnics to a faith based picnic company after such a hard hit. The article took time to publish so I’m able to share now!

My story and my life has been complicated (I know a lot can relate) with lots of trauma over the years and also in the past battling anxiety and severe depression. In 2024, I had hit rock bottom after the loss of my mom and a month later, losing a corporate career I had based my identity around. It got so bad that I was in out patient hospitalization for a few months and taking up to 5 medications a day just to “survive”. My life changed when I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ. Literally a 180 shift! I was healed from anxiety, depression, and felt a level of peace I can’t describe. I am beyond grateful for Pastor @philipamitchell & @2819church. I heard Pastor Philip preaching as my daughter was listening to him on YouTube. His message convicted me and I know God used him to get me back to salvation. 😭🙏🏾 He was my internet pastor for a long time lol. I always forever grateful for that moment & his ministry because my love for Jesus now is what sustains me. I’m so grateful to @essence for this opportunity!

I wrote a book here 😂🙏🏾 I’m just so grateful! All glory and praise to my Lord! The King of all kings and the Lord of all lords. ❤️❤️❤️ grateful to my church family now @mywellchurch my life has changed being in this ministry. I will continue to uplift our church and family!

If you’re struggling or need hope, everything you need is in JESUS! ❤️

I miss and love my mom soooo much. I know she would be so proud of me. I will love you always and forever! ❤️❤️🤗

From Vision to Reality | The Hello Betty Tea Room Transformation 🌸

Looking back at one of the highlights of this year! 💕

What was once a room used for meetings and work gatherings at Hello Betty was transformed into a beautiful, floral-inspired Tea Room experience!

I had the pleasure of bringing this vision to life through floral design & creative interior design creating a space that feels inviting, elegant, and full of beauty.

With less than a month to bring everything together, there were long hours, lots of hard work, and countless details behind the scenes. But seeing the final transformation made it all worth it! 🌷

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of creating something that guests can now enjoy at Hello Betty.

There’s something special about seeing a vision go from a rendering to a real-life experience. This project will always hold a special place in my heart!

Go and visit for tea 🫖 if you haven’t yet!

💗 More Than an Event. A Cause Close to My Heart. 💗

It was truly an honor for Lushnics to create the tablescapes for a beautiful evening hosted by Meet H.E.R. & Color Vision, celebrating and uplifting cancer survivors. 🌸 @meetherorg x @thecolorvision

This event was especially meaningful to me because I lost my mother to cancer. Having experienced that loss firsthand, supporting an evening dedicated to honoring survivors, celebrating their strength, and bringing women together meant more to me than words can express.

Sometimes, the work we do goes far beyond creating beautiful spaces. It’s about being part of something bigger, something that touches hearts and makes a difference. ❤️

I’m truly grateful that God allowed Lushnics to contribute to such a special evening.

🙏🏽 May God continue to bless Meet H.E.R. & Color Vision, every cancer survivor, those still fighting, and the families who have lost someone they love.

💕 Let’s fill the comments with love and encouragement! If you’ve survived cancer, are currently fighting, or have lost someone dear to you, I invite you to share a 💗 or honor your loved one by sharing their name below.

Also follow to support this beautiful cause and organization ❤️💕
Let’s remind one another that no one walks this journey alone. 💕

IT’S HERE. 📖💕
The Luxury Girl’s Hosting Bible is officially out today!

This book was born out of a season I didn’t plan for. Through grief, God showed me that hosting is more than pretty tables. It’s a ministry of making people feel seen, loved, and welcome. 🕯️

So I wrote the guide I wish I’d had when I started, for every woman who has saved a tablescape and thought “I could never pull that off.”

Inside the Beginner’s Edition:
🕯️ Setting a table that looks expensive but isn’t
🌹 Choosing your colors, florals, and theme
🍽️ Planning your guest list, timeline, and menu
🩷 Small details that make every guest feel cared for

Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. - Romans 12:13

You don’t need a big budget to host well. You need a willing heart and a plan, and now you have both.

Beautiful parties, made easy.

Honored to partner with @lushnics to capture her beautiful Bloom Flower Market experience at the Washingtonian Most Powerful Women reception 🌸

Watching women leaders, founders, and visionaries build their own flower bouquet reflected the resilience, determination, and how far women business owners have come.

What once represented a small percentage of business ownership has grown into generations of women building, leading, and creating impact across every industry.

Honored to capture a story bigger than the frame 💙📸

And just like that… ProtectHer has officially launched. 💌

What started as a vision became a room filled with women connecting, growing, laughing, worshiping, and simply being reminded that they are seen, known, and called by God.

Pastor @krisymac led us through “Called by Name,” an open-book Bible study and conversation centered on releasing the labels we’ve carried and remembering the identity God has already given us.

The room was beautiful, but what happened in the women mattered most. Women left encouraged, connected, poured into, and ready for more. This is exactly why ProtectHer exists.

To every sponsor, vendor, partner, volunteer, and leader who helped us bring this night to life, thank you.

And to every woman who joined us: welcome to the sisterhood. We’re just getting started.

More faith. More conversation. More sisterhood. More growth.

Where faith forms women, women form the future. by @lushnics

You had to be in the room. 🤎

Different stories. Different seasons. Different walks of life. Different places in our faith.

But for one night, we laid down the titles, the expectations, and everything we carry and simply came together as women.

To connect. To grow. To be poured into. And eventually, to pour back into the women and girls coming behind us.

This is ProtectHer. And we’re just getting started.

Our next Bible Study is November 12th at 7 PM.
Save the date. More details are coming. 🤎
