Being a student can have a range of demands and sometimes unexpected experiences that can be stressful and challenging to navigate, and it's important to remember your mental health is something to pay attention to and take care of 🧠❤️

We even offer courses that focus on wellness, mental health and human relationships for those contemplating pursing these kinds of fields, or just want to learn more about these topics for personal growth! by @lutherwaterloo

On Sept. 27 Luther's 17th Principal-Dean installation took place, where Rev. Dr. Daranne Harris was officially welcomed as part of our campus and wider community. What fall days look like at Luther 🍁 by @lutherwaterloo

For @wilfridlaurieruni student Kimiya Moin, a Community Psychology class placement at Luther and LSPIRG's Distro food program has brought connection, community, skill-building and a long-term volunteer opportunity.

Moin’s journey at Distro had what any student’s placement can hopefully achieve: a place that sparks their values and interests while building experiences they can take with them after graduation. It was such a great fit that Moin decided to stay on as a volunteer.

Distro has many moving parts, and it’s largely volunteers like Moin that make it happen. Every week, fresh food is donated or collected from various local establishments. Volunteers stock shelves and create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for students who use the Distro program.

If you're a Laurier or Luther student wanting to learn more about mental health supports offered throughout the school year, stop by the @glebecentre booth on Luther's green space outside today until 3 pm! They have painting, bamboo shoots (to keep!) and great folks to chat with.

Let’s come together, start conversations, and change the narrative around mental health. by @lutherwaterloo

Today we welcomed a whole lot of @wilfridlaurieruni students to a special Chilling with Dogs session on campus as part of Laurier's Orientation Kick-Off! 🐶💜💛

Students across many different Laurier programs had the chance to learn about Luther as they adjust to their first few days on campus. We have courses and minors available to all students, as well as campus events and programming, just like today's snapshot of Chilling with Dogs!

Our academic support team and program coordinators led informative sessions on preparing for success at Luther. We also welcomed a range of campus programming booths from across Luther and @wilfridlaurieruni for our student experience fair.

We were so excited to see campus filled with eager students with lots of valuable questions and smiles all around. You all have a fantastic learning journey ahead of you and we can't to see what you achieve during your time here. by @lutherwaterloo

Orientation for Luther students is approaching this fall 🎉

This is your reminder to register! Be prepared with dates, times and programming schedules.

Remember, as a Luther student, you have a specific Orientation Day to get integrated into student learning and life here on campus. But you also have an opportunity to be a part of Laurier's orientation programming, which we highly recommend also registering for, whether you're an undergraduate or graduate student.

You'll learn about learning resources, program details, and meet your peers for the first time.
