Serenity Keyno Stay.tionery ink and fountain pen for the 1st of July entry in the Hobonichi avec Diary
__________
I actually thought i lost this avec during the chaos of my move but it turns out i just didnt label the box it was in the name i expected after the move. It was just sitting in my room the entire time and i just hadnt opened it yet. 🫠

Thank you @_soeandsoe for the speedy delivery of my order!! Im so in love with the design of the pen!! Its so different and detailed omgee i cannot wait to keep using it!!!

Ive also decided to just post again without trying to think about layout or intention too much, i feel like ive been holding back unneccessarily and just want the freedom to post without care like i used to. 🫣 so here goes!

🫖 Chai Tea Nonble Platinum 3776 | Fountain Pen
_________
🖋️ This is my 2nd pen in the Tea series, because i have basically given up trying to find the Apricot Peach Tea pen at this point. It fits so well with my diary this year, an A6 Hobonichi that i got from @milligramstore when they opened in George St last year. I was so excited to start writing in it, and though it’s a very daunting “daily” diary, I’m really proud to say I’ve filled it up every single day so far. It has definitely become a relaxing thing for me to put the spreads together. I’m so excited to share them eventually!
I’m looking forward to posting more fountain pens when i get the chance!
🖋️ @izumi_pen So much thanks for helping me get my hands on the pen!

January 2022 | Bujo
_________
📜 Changing it up a bit and posting the whole month in one go. Featuring some new pens as well. This starting month was I spent half of it just working, and then the next half was my honeymoon, that was…2 years overdue. XD This is what happens when you get married during COVID times. I only realise this way too late but i had bought so many blue washi tape when i got into them. I kind of didn’t get any other colour for a while, and thus the theme was very easy for me to follow with.
🕯️ @hellomonbe Christmas candle (it smells divine)
📼 @eyterna Washi tape: Roses and Kaomoji
🖋️ @FerrisWheelPress Brush Pen in Cerulean Blue
@LAMY_global Safari (this is technically my first ever fountain pen!)

Chamomile Tea Platinum 3776 | Fountain Pen
_________
📜 I still remember seeing this pen in it’s case whilst i was overseas, and despite being in a shopping mindset, i had held back from purchasing it, and…regretted it for the rest of the trip and it haunted me even after i got back home.

By the time i got into fountain pens, this pen was already released a while back. I was very lucky that a family member was able to help me get it from an overseas Kinokuniya that still stocked it. I am really really thankful. They even had the ink as well! I’m so glad! I’m now totally in love with this pen, even though normally i wouldn’t be using a broad, i have found that i still end up writing whole paragraphs with it because it’s just so nice.

Set Up for 2022
_________
📜 I basically continued my trusty old set up from 2021, i think I’m just liking the title page and my year at a glance, so good to know what i have planned already, so i remember things as i should, though honestly, even with that sometimes i don’t. I don’t think i wrote much in this careers page at the end. Didn’t end up doing all the things essentially, but did some things still! Better than not!

My favourite is probably the Media page, i love it so much i think i need to expand it in my next journal for sure. THe highlight reel i think I’m enjoying it in a bit more of a free-form way instead of the standard monthly one, because in the monthly way i would just cram as much infor as i can, but this way, I’m just putting in more big things that happened that i thought at the time needed to be in here. There’s definitely more highlights in the year, but i still don’t want to have to enforce it in any way in a rigid form.

Start Cover of 2022
_________
📜 This notebook got fat fast. 😅 Later into this year was when i got into fountain pens. I started with Lamy and Kaweco, and now I’m…into way too many. I also made some washi tapes! I’m slowly starting to design more items! Hehe. Anyway, back to the book. It is also a @notebook_therapy book too. XD I love this book so much, but boy it’s a chonky one. I think it’s one of my heaviest journals to date.

Tsuki Nara Journal - 2021
_________
📜 This cute Tsuki “Nara” planner was the one i used for 2021, it has a really nice texture on the cover, and it was one of my favourites from @notebooktherapy. They have really wonderful journals! And I’m so glad i got to use their journals so much! Sadly it is currently sold out on the Notebook Therapy website, but hopefully it will be available again soon!

End of 2021
_________
📜 Goodnight 2021! Saying a goodbye to a journal is rather…interesting. I think it’s a good end though, it’s been ages and it’s time for a new one. I think i decided that big journals were for me, because who knows when I’ll be going out enough to bring my journal with me? Spoiler alert, i used big journals for 2022 and 2023!

New Dawn
_______
📜 She needed to stay in the hospital for about a week after her birth, but every day was so magical to have her in my arms. I’m so happy to have her in my life. It is nearly a year since her birth. And everyday is still an adventure. I’m so happy that my life now is: before her, and then after her. Thank you @dazzamazing for coming on this journey with me, and all our families supporting us all the time.

December 2021 Spreads
_________
📜 I think looking back at the way i did these, i was trying to use up some washi tapes, but kind of just threw them all over the place. It took me probably until now (that’s a whopping 2 years) to look back and think that maybe i should’ve actually put my graphic design skills to use and did some different types of layouts. That being said, I’m pretty sure i only just managed to do a bit more now. But before that was still relying on this sort of layout, so…not sure if I’ve really changed much!

December 2021 Set Up
_________
📜 Ah, the end of the year, must do the green and red. Probably the only other time i use the red apart from February actually. XD This year we also got to attend my family’s Christmas lunch which is always a plus. :) And not sure if I remember correctly but i think we also attended a wedding! Nice way to close out the year. :)
